I love the scent of printed books and I have small library, so I am big fan of printed books. But I also am always moving around, so digital books are really handy
I lean towards print books primarily due to their tactile nature. Holding a book, feeling the paper, and turning pages offer a sensory experience that digital formats can't replicate. Additionally, print books don't require power or screens, which can reduce eye strain and provide a break from the digital devices that dominate modern life. Plus, there's something special about the smell of a new or old book and seeing them lined up on a shelf, contributing to a room's ambiance.
I have a Kindle, but I miss print books for some reason. For me there's something satsifying about holding a book and the weight of the book changing in each hand as you get further through the book.
Jeez, just read that back and I sound like such a weirdo..
I prefer to read print books over digital ones for their tactile experience and the joy of turning real pages. However, digital books are convenient, especially for travel. When organizing my print book collection, the best label printer becomes an essential tool. It helps keep my shelves tidy and makes finding specific titles much easier. Despite the convenience of digital books, the combination of the sensory pleasure from print books and the organizational aid from the best label printer makes my reading experience more enjoyable and satisfying.
I'll always go with printed books because of the vibes, the smell of pages, the feel of touching those pages, and lastly, the hunger to read them once in a while.
Digital, because I can take notes with my kindle, export them in Notion and have questions about the book, plus I also try to apply the things I learn. Can't really do that with a physical book, taking pics and converting them into text takes time...
