Do you have a mentor in your professional life?
Very interested in whether you have/had a mentor at any point of your professional life, how was it, and also how you found them:)
I saw a thread on LinkedIn today about how mentorship is a really effective way to gain experience and a ton of knowledge quicker than the usual route, and I became really interested in the idea🤔

I had one, but this relationship was very short. It seemed to me that this person was doing everything to talk me out of entrepreneurship, I did not like this approach and I quit this mentorship program.

I don't currently have one, but I used to always have one in the past. At the time I did find it useful it was good to have someone that I could talk to about the professional side of my life and it did help me progress.
Now I've sort of switched to a group of friendly advisors that I talk to instead - people that I respect and value their opinion. They've all got different backgrounds and different points of view and that's really helpful for being rounded.
