I started my career at 20 and launched my first product at 28.

Left my first finance job to start a business in the fitness space while still in grad school at 24. Went "back to work" about five years later but still involved with that and now some other projects. Two sides of the same coin -- take risks and try different paths when you're young. But! Some risks are unnecessary. If you can bootstrap/validate your product while getting industry experience do that. No need to burn the boats until you know there's gold in the hills!
