I think we have peaked with generalised models. The move now is on data driven models and models for specific tasks. The shift in the market is why more companies are getting funded for solving specific issues with AI that adds huge value to the user. General LLMs have been the pivot in allowing people to understand AI. Now its like the goldrush to find real issues to solve with AI
imo this is not the peak yet, we definitely have a AI boom in every industry and I think finding the right fit for each sector will take time. Super excited to see what might be next though.
