AI background removal tools. Yay or nay?
How important is the ability to remove/replace background to you when choosing a video tool ? Do you care about the quality of it at all ? I personally don’t use it as much anymore, but when I do I always use a purpose built tool instead of a native video conferencing tool feature. How about you ?

I use remove.bg for pictures pretty much every day. I don't create a lot of videos but it would be crucial too

@reconcatlord Totally agree. It can actually make you appear worse and your virtual background can become very distracting.
Background removal tools can be a game-changer for video content creators. The ability to remove or replace backgrounds is definitely important to me when choosing a video tool. Quality matters a lot, as a poor background removal can make the entire video look unprofessional.

@stylar_max Absolutely, quality is key. I personally use VCam.ai. I used to work for XSplit who made it. They did a lot of work with Intel to bring the best background removal tool to the market. It's exceptional good.
Well I'm not one who uses these on a daily basis, but from use experience, I would say purpose built tool, I noticed most of the native ones are not as accurate and seem to glitch or have image clipping/frame tearing.
