a tool for writing a book publicly?
i'm writing a book (called Indie Makers' Bible). it is about bootstrapping profitable products.
i want it to be co-authored by anyone. if one of my ideas is wrong, i want another opinion to be presented. the Wikipedia style 🙂
a tool like github can work well for that. but github is for geeks. i want non-tech-savvy people to be able to contribute to it too.
what tool do i use?

@guar47 i can either make a page public for everyone or invite particular collaborators by email.
both are not the thing i want 🤓
i want them to offer changes for me to accept/decline. like google doc suggestions or github pull requests.
what tools have you tried and ruled out?
how about using a commenting system on posts and then you can choose to add edits that you want in?

You want to gain experience in an interesting direction. You already got the right advice above. But that's not all; in-depth searches are required. I think it's important to find people who can understand your intentions and the underlying meaning you want to convey through your story. Because everyone has their own views, and this can affect the result.
