8 Non-Negotiables of Product Building

Solve Root Causes, Not Symptoms → Band-aids don't heal; they just hide the wound Simplicity is Your Superpower → If it needs a manual, it's too complex Users > Your Assumptions → Build what they need, not what you think they want Think 2025, Ship Today → Future-proof, but don't wait for perfect Feedback is Your Fuel → Every version should be better than the last Speed Kills Competition → Slow products die fast Feelings > Features → Make them feel something, not just do something Ruthlessly Remove → If it's not essential, it's expensive Remember: Great products aren't built in boardrooms—they're built in the trenches of user feedback. Agree with selling first to validate demand. I usually create a simple landing page or pre-sell to gauge interest before investing heavily in building. Mitigates risk of wasting time on something no one wants. Though gotta be careful not to oversell vaporware - balance validating demand with being able to deliver if it takes off. Curious what others' experiences have been pre-selling.

What do you think about following statement: "First sell the product, then start building." I have seen this for several times that you need to first deliver (so that you can be sure of the demand and only then should you produce it).

I never skip market validation, It's a must before jumping to development.
