What kind of music do you listen to while you work?

@abadesi I agree with you. Music is so pleasing and soothing, that it easily takes away my attention and focus. I prefer to listen to soothing instrumentals when I want to relax.

@abadesi Agreed! When I'm writing, I can't listen to music with works. very distracting

@henry_zhang3 I maintain a ridiculously massive lofi playlist if you're interested: https://open.spotify.com/playlis... I never really promote it, I just use it and share it with a few friends. But it's been a work in progress for a few years, adding to it every month. So far 44 hours of nonstop lofi hiphop

@henry_zhang3 Of course! Share it if you want as well :) it's my go-to playlist when I'm programming. I use more ambient-focused playlists when doing real debugging work though. I find that beats work best when being hyper productive, but for me, beats get distracting when I'm deep into debugging a difficult problem. For that, I generally put on some extremely minimal ambient spa-type music.
