4. Connect GENUINELY with people. Avoid: "please upvote my product now" šŸ˜…šŸ˜… Thanks for the list @blockstars

Thank you for the "Thank you" @garysz. This list was composed by @olenabomko so all the Thanks go to Olena šŸ™Œ

Launching soon!
@garysz @olenabomko @blockstars I think its huge on here to provide a proactive approach to the community building component of launching / products as whole. If you show up a week before a launch and message someone to upvote your product - they might do it - but the rapport isn't there so many people likely won't! Love the insight here!

Hey Olena, Fantastic list, really well thought out! I've also launched a couple of products on Product Hunt, so here are a couple of additional points that might be useful: Press Coverage: Try to line up some press coverage or blogs to coincide with your launch day. It not only adds credibility but also funnels in a different type of audience that you might not get from PH or social channels. Engage in Real-Time: Have someone dedicated to real-time chat support or at least Q&A on your Product Hunt page. It can significantly improve your engagement rate and solve any issues users might have right away, making them more likely to upvote or try your product. Android APK Cheers and best of luck with your PH launch!

Hey Olena, Firstly, thanks for sharing these invaluable tips! As someone who recently joined the Product Hunt platform, I find this list quite helpful as I landed on this page from Google :) If you don't mind, I do have a couple of questions: 1. When you mention "Be active on PH," how often would you recommend a newbie like me to engage on the platform to build a presence? 2. Regarding the "Coming Soon" page, are there any specific elements or details you'd suggest including to make it more appealing or effective? Thanks again for the insights, and looking forward to learning more. Cheers, Kosala

@olenabomko Awesome! It landed me on this page :) I don't remember exactly what I searched for. We are about to launch a product so I signed up today and started doing some research. That's how I landed on the page.
Just checked hunted.space. Seems pretty useful. Thanks!

Great list, Olena! My tip: Connect > Communicate > Contribute.> Building connections through conversations and contributions within PH and broader maker communities is imperative to gain trust and traction before the launch. PH is a place for the people, by the people hence building real connections by helping each other goes a long long way when it comes to your product launch!

Hi Olena, indeed, a very good summary. I would add another point - "To create a story around your product to make the potential user feel connected." On another note, I am trying to build a community of serious makers and mentors and you would be a perfect fit as a founding mentor of the community. Can we connect?
