Hunters - after Gather’s initial launch earlier this year, I’m excited to share a new product with you! My cofounder @esumit and I started Gather because we want to enable every person to get value from the data they create. Our latest invention is called GENIE, the first personal AI that knows you…personally Genie is still in its infancy, but here is some of the magic it can already do for you: 🥑“Hey Genie, when I’m in Austin next month, remind me to check out this restaurant” 🌍“Hey Genie, what are all of my friends addresses? I want to mail out holiday cards” 🧑‍🏭“Remind me when I go to the office next week to ask Liz about the expense reports” 📳“Genie, the morning before my flights, remind me to grab my phone charger” The best part is how easy it is to use Genie: - TAP Open the app - TALK Ask Genie a question about your Calendar or info you need to remember later - TEXT If you asked for a reminder, Genie will use your calendar and location to figure out the exact right moment to text you. Like I said, Genie is still an early product, but we are excited to share it with this community, because you all give THE BEST feedback! And I’m hoping that a few of you find it genuinely helpful, especially during this holiday season!! Feedback I would love to hear from PH community: What data source should we add next to make Genie even more useful for you? Amazon, to automatically track returns? Fitbit, so you can identify patterns in your heart-rate? Hinge, to analyze how many dates you’re going on?! The possibilities are infinite!

@mirzabesirovic Thanks for checking it out, Mirza!! So the reason that genie requires texting capabilities is if you ask genie to send you smart reminders. We heard from early users that they much prefer SMS > app notifications. But you're right, that limits us to US-only users right now, so we will see how we can expand in the new year!

I was a little excited in thinking that I could now have a Siri that's a little more understanding lol. Nonetheless, I do love the app - I think that we are entering an age when we have so much to do and even our assistants have so much to do that it's essential to have AI that supports our knowledge, organization, and makes automation easier. This is a very interesting app and I do hope to try it out soon! Love the name!!

Looks useful! I like the text interface, very casual. Tracking returns would be good. Also make me a list of people I need to respond to via email or text.

@rayshan LOVE the feedback! We will be adding amazon in the new year, so return tracking is definitely coming. genie will be able to nudge you before you hit a return window, making sure you don't miss out on a refund. For the email/text thing, what are you thinking? Like Genie tells you if you haven't responded to someone within X hours?
