@nivo0o0 Not sure. I usually encounter dedicated rooms with huge walls painted with whiteboard paint to scribble on, which are also designed to be noise-shielded.
Reminds me more of the old days:
"Hey, who gets the TV cabinet with the DVD player out of 223?" followed by "Where is the TV?" "It's been in 223" "No, not anymore" "Who rolled the TV out of 223?" "I think Lisa used it last week for her presentation" "Where is Lisa?". :D
@nivo0o0 It seems that the wheels and especially those legs can be really annoying to use and draw or write on the blackboard.. hanging on the wall seems feasible.
@bentossell Rather incredible that we stagger the generation of the overhead slide projector, and the jamboard. Do you remember drawing on the plastic transparent sheets for those things?
Whoa- I loved the concept behind the MS Surface Hub, but never really saw the vision realized. This is way more compelling, so if Google can pull this off AND make it affordable, this is a slam dunk!
Remember when Google stuff was ugly but functional? Times have changed!
Is that just me or the name Jamboard remind you of Jeremy Jamm from Park and Recreation :)
@tsunaze Yeah, now just the *easy* part of teaming up with Google and making them integrate Guggy into the JamBoard :)
I wonder what the remote experience will look like. Will you be able to see the speaker as well as the board? That would seem an important part of the existing white board experience that I don't think anyone has done.

@jackdweck I believe you forgot Glass, Cars, and Switches (they are custom to handle their bandwidth reqs).
Prediction: Every coworking space worth it's salt will have a Jamboard in at least one conference room by the end of 2017.
I love Google, but this seems like a weak step forward for whiteboard type collaboration. Rolling it around? It's a step, but not quite enough in my mind.
Wonder whether any journo got the hint inside Jamboard ad on the next gadget Google has in works.
How's this any different from MS Surface Hub from back in 2015? Oh yeah, it's a Google product! let's all get excited guys :)

In my perspective, It's going to be a really useful tool for teams (especially big teams) and also it will make the meetings a little bit more fun.

There are tons of HW to do this job now. What I am looking forward to is the app. There is no fully functional realtime whiteboar in @Gsuite or anywhere else yet AFIK.
@anupchathoth @gsuite This. Cool hardware aside, if Google introduce a decent collaboration tool for distributed teams that integrates with the rest of their tools that would way more exciting than any number of wheels.
