Hey @kwdinc , thanks for hunting this man! Our intent with Scout Air is pretty simple - give startups an easy, easy way of keeping a an eye on what is happening about them (or even competition) on social media. Fully loaded Social Analytics tools are ridiculously expensive and time consuming (we know, we build one!) for startups, but that doesn't mean you have to live uninformed. Scout Air takes 5 minutes to set up (more like 3 actually), and you get everything over email. Just email. For startups that are beginning to gain real traction, there is nothing easier/cheaper to be on top of everything social! And it isn't just engagement metrics and fan growth, but it also covers the full circle - mentions by anyone about you, sentiment tracking, various alerts ( you mentioned by influential users, sudden spike in mentions of the startup or the founder etc.) On a good day, I would say it is hygiene, but on a bad day, it can literally be your savior. Go ahead give it a spin, it does have a FREE 2 week trial. And if you sign up for the subscription before October 25, you get a LIFETIME 25% discount (remember to use PHLIFE25).

I'm enjoying seeing social activity in one email. Got notifications when verified accounts are RT-ing/liking, which was helpful to go back and engage more.

Pros:

Easy to setup, quick to connect to accounts for monitoring. Emails look good.

Cons:

Not able to fine tune the levels. Should remove my own tweets :)

Thanks Prasanna! So we have now separated out tweets/posts from your own handle into a separate section called "owned insights", keeping the "earned insights/mentions" as a separate section. You should probably add your personal handle to the startup handle as 'your own' using the edit mode, problem would be solved!
