Frenzy will be offering Yeezy's for $1 today in Toronto via the new geofenced sales feature >> Dropzone! http://www.highsnobiety.com/2017...

Hey everyone, We’re really excited about Frenzy 2.0 which includes a design update and a new feature called Dropzones. We think this can be a new way for retailers to activate product releases around the world, as well as reduce a lot of the friction in purchasing (and selling) products at events, concerts, and more. We envision a future where Dropzones can replace (or amplify) traditional popup or retail shops. For consumers, Dropzones are as simple as having Frenzy installed and being in the designated Dropzone before the countdown to the drop reaches zero. The sale will appear automatically in Frenzy once the user steps into the Dropzone, and when the sale unlocks, they can buy with Apple Pay using Touch ID. For retailers, setting up a Dropzone sale takes just a few clicks by dropping pins on a map in our backend – all powered by Shopify. Here's more on Dropzones and Frenzy 2.0 - https://frenzyapp.tumblr.com/pos... Happy to answer any questions!

Hi Hammad and Tucker, interested to know how is 2.0 different from the first launch?

@ems_hodge Hi Emily! 2.0 includes a big design update, an integration with http://ada.support and a new feature called Dropzones. Dropzones are special areas around the world that contain sales, accessed exclusively through Frenzy.

Looks interesting. You guys should include the link to the app on the App Store on the website. @tuckerschreiber

Used this app when the Yeezy Breds came out. Could you guys possibly add a Drop Calendar to keep users, like myself, up-to-date as to what sneakers will be for sale through the app?

Dropzones look dope! Do you foresee any complications with falsification of geolocation (similar to what Adidas Confirmed gets hit with)? Does this run on the Shopify platform or how does it work for local releases like the Yeezy promo drop? I agree with the call for a better incarnation of the release calendar. Having used Frenzy before, a few more notes: - It'd be nice for there to be a localized absolute time for the drop under the countdown. - Add pricing information on the home screen image - Some feedback when servers are stressed during a drop. I was always unsure if I should close out or just keep hitting enter trying to get through since there wasn't any feedback. - Default size selection would be nice too. Doesn't need to auto purchase that size, but removing the size selection if my default size is available would be huge. Cut down on server steps. - The option for push notifications when a new release is added. I often forget Frenzy is even an option.
