I cannot recommend this book enough - I am re-reading it at the moment, 8 years after I first read it. This book by @jesslivingston literally made me fall in love with the tech industry and I haven't looked back since. If you want to know what it's like to run a startup - the ups and downs - read this book which includes one-on-one interviews with some of our greatest innovators and entrepreneurs from Steve Wozniak to Caterina Fake, Paul Buchheit, Paul Graham et al

Excellent book. A must-read for anyone working around startups. It does a great job of showing that the anxieties founders face haven't changed much over time, and even ideas that are obvious in retrospect weren't quite so clear at the time.
