I helped design the Forelinx platform and have enjoyed watching this team set the stage for the future of golf memberships. With both individual and business plans available, not only is it the easiest way to book tee times, you also get to use your points on merchandise, vacation packages and member-only events.
Using Forelinx truly took the hassle out of golf for me — no cash exchanged at the course, cart and green fees are included, and you can see which tee times your friends booked so you can join them or just meet at the 19th hole 🍻
I really think this type of service is a fresh idea for getting tee times at a good rate with a bit of a membership vibe to it. I love it so far, still some bugs to iron out but that's normal with a new product/service. So far their support has been awesome!
They should also make it easier to share points with friends and obviously add more courses. Would be good if they got into equipment as well and made points eligible for a wider array of products; e.g. golf balls or clubs vs just green fees
Pros:Deals on local courses along with the sign on bonuses. Subscriptions for golf rounds like this just work.
Cons:They should develop an app thats a little more stable and not rely on the mobile site.
