Experience multi-display multitasking on a single screen.
With unlimited floating windows that stay-on-top, giving you space to do even more, so you can manage your time and get things done faster without limiting or distracting yourself!
Appreciate your feedback Gilang!
As of now there isn't a video, however you can check out the site for more details!
It's quite an easy to use app. You just install it and then you can view any site or your local files in floating windows that stay-on-top, so you can focus on several things at once!
@madebyayan I also need a video to understand this software more clearly. After all, you only allow downloading after payment instead of unlocking after trial.
@richinapps
Hi Richard, thanks for your feedback!
At the moment it's only available on windows, however, if there's enough demand and people want to use it on their Macs, I'll definitely work on making a Mac version as well!
@richinapps
Hey Richard,
I'm happy to let you know that I've JUST uploaded the Mac version of the app and now you can get it for windows as well as MacOS for a consistent and clean experience throughout your devices.
Hope you check it out and I would love more of your feedback!

@congnc
Hi Cedric,
At the moment it's only available on windows, however, if there's enough demand and people want to use it on their Macs, I'll definitely work on making a Mac version as well soon!
Thanks for your feedback!
@congnc Hey Cedric, I'm happy to let you know that I've JUST uploaded the Mac version of the app and now you can get it for windows as well as MacOS for a consistent and clean experience throughout your devices. Hope you check it out and would love your feedback!
@congnc Hey Cedric,
You can get the app on itch.io, https://madebyayan.itch.io/slate
Or on gumroad, https://madebyayan.gumroad.com/l...
And you'll get access to both the Mac and Windows versions, so you can download your preferred version.
If you're having trouble downloading through either of these sites, do let me know and I'll be more than happy to guide you!
Does it require admin privileges to install the app. I am on a office desktop that does not have admin privilege. Wanted to make sure before purchasing.
@chronikey
Hi Chronikey, the app doesn't require any admin privileges to install, so you'll be able to install it on your office desktop without any issues!
Hope you have a nice experience using Slate!
@madebyayan Thank you. Sorry to say, in first few minutes of use, the app is slow and hangs a lot. But more importantly, I misunderstood its scope of use. I was intending to float my normal files and app windows, while I realized this is a mini-web-browser so to say. Also, by saying view your local files by drag and drop, it does not open any files, including word, excel, jpg, pdf and makes the whole screen freeze. Other apps starts not responding once it can not open a file. Sometimes, windows asks if I really want to open this file, as it does not have a valid digital certificate. I was not impressed.
@chronikey I'm sorry that you didn't have the best experience with the app.
In terms of the lag, could you share more details on which windows version you're using and your PC specs?
As for word and excel, they don't work natively with Slate, however, jpg's and pdf's should open as soon as your drop them.
You had mentioned Helium in a previous comment and Slate aims at providing a similar experience and more on windows.
Let me know if we can talk somewhere else, I'd be happy to know more and help you through this and try my best to make sure you have a better experience with Slate
@madebyayan I am using Windows 10 Enterprise running on Intel core i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 8GB RAM. My sys admin deprived computer where there are too many security measures could be what making the app not run smoothly. You could reach out to me on twitter with same handle.
@chronikey Thanks for providing the details!
I've reached out to you on twitter, but it seems like your DMs are closed. You might need to follow me back for us to message.
