Really neat idea! I'm sure it'd helped my studies if it were available back then.
How are you finding it coping with other background noise in a crowded lecture room? Would you suggest for users to put their phone close to lecturer? Or can the app discard voices other than a "target" voice?

@kmanderuk Thanks! We have built a custom made noise-cancelling algorithm, which adapts to the user environment and device. And as our algorithm gets more data every day, it will only improve further over time.
However, we still do recommend to try to minimize any background noise as well as music when possible. And, to place the phone as close to the one speaking the most.

We have launched a transcription app for two types of students: those with difficulties following what the teacher is saying during lectures and those who have a harder time taking proper notes in the classroom.
A good example of this could be a foreign student at an American university. If English is not ones native language, it could be difficult to catch 100% of what is being said during the lecture.
By using our app these students can follow and focus their energy real-time on what is being said and thereby be more active in the classroom: this can be especially important for those classes that are partially graded by class participation. Besides, they will have more detailed notes when studying for the exams.
Our app also includes features that enable you to import PowerPoint slides handed out by the teacher or pictures taken of the class board. You will be able to both edit and share these – and many more functions are to come in the future.
