Hi everyone, I'm so excited to share Fluento with you on Product Hunt! It's been a labor of love, combining AI feedback with real conversations to make language learning more effective and enjoyable. TL;DR: I'm a Former English teacher turned a technical product manager , I've blended my experiences to create a more effective language learning solution. If you're learning a language towards fluency and confidence so you can ace a job interview, its still difficult to do without a lot of money. If you're looking to practice: Fluento will match you instantly with a like minded peer who is as motivated, has similar goals, level and interests. No more trolls. Practice what's relevant to you: Fluento's AI generates goal driven scenarios for you both to practice based on your objectives. No more learning how to say that a cat eats oranges. A teacher is with you: I've built a ML model that operates like a teacher to give you feedback on your weaknesses and strengths after and during the session on your fluency - like you grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary to help you sound natural and confident. Fluento is in Beta - so so far, just for English but with more languages coming if there is a demand. I really hope it helps you on your language journey and we're eager to hear your feedback. @aboutido congrats on the launch! A question on the product, are you matched with fellow learners of the same language or is it more an 'intercambio' style where you learn with a native and help them learn your language in return?

Hi @al_gordon. A really good question. Fluento's AI matches you with someone who does not speak your native language so that only language you can communicate would be the target language - in this case, English. That way, instead of focusing on teaching each other your language, you're focused on trying to achieve a goal, like acing that job interview.

Thanks for clarifying for me! In the example of the job interview, is the peer you're paired with playing the role of the interviewer, or are you both interviewing?

You talk for 1 hour with someone who speaks English at a similar level to you. Sometimes there is a scenario, for example you are asking for a salary increase, sometimes you are returning a product to a seller. Would you like to speak English like a native speaker? You are in the right place. But only if you meet regularly.
