I've churned from DuoLingo. From Busuu. The direction they're taking language learning with in-context what you're engaged to be doing throughout the day is a fantastic combo. I've been using Fluent for months and am more excited with each days interaction. Thanks Gavin & team! Take my 💸 💸!!!

@simoelalj Yes - to add on, how do you make money? A business that doesn't ask for payment or make it obvious how it makes money means I'm the product or maybe my data is. However your privacy policy is very clear:
> We will never sell, rent, or other wise share your personal information, with or without personally identifying information. Furthermore, we will never share anonymized selections of your individual data.
But is there something else that you're selling?
I can’t wait to go to an Italian restaurant’s menu and figure out how to say Pizza and Spaghetti in Italian!
Love this product and the enthusiasm of the founding team. Excited for an integration with GCal so it automatically switches off when I have meetings scheduled: can be a tad embarrassing during a demo!

@jreeve0 Hi Joe, thanks a lot! We're a very small team at the moment, which is why we don't yet support Firefox, but it's coming soon. However, we are on Brave, it's a new browser made by Brendan Eich the creator of Firefox and Javascript that is privacy focused and has ad-blocker built in, so it's really fast. I recommend trying it out if you haven't. That being said, Firefox is coming for sure!

You guys nailed it. I was always trying the new Language Learning Apps, and all-time my problem is to give them dedicated time. With Fluent, this new teacher teaches new languages daily without giving any extra time. 🙌

Integrate solutions into people's everyday life. Reduce the learning curve and onboarding effort. Reward people as they progress to generate engagement. This tool is conceptually perfect. Congrats!!!
I've seen Fluent when they first launched on PH last year, and really impressed by the progress of what their team has achieved. The product has been brilliantly executed and anyone that wanted to learn a new language should definitely give them a try!
This method of integrated language learning is the next best thing to moving to the country where they speak the language you want to learn, particularly when it comes to useful, conversational/colloquial language. There is a huge kernel of truth to this approach that makes it so effective, namely, the difference between the traditional approach of taking time OUT of your day to learn a language versus this more natural approach to integrating language learning IN to your day. I look forward to seeing how this evolves. Big 🙌 to the creators at Fluent.

An updated review 3 weeks later. I continue to use it and it love that as I continue to surf the web, I am learning more words. Not entirely sure how much of this will translate getting a grasp over the language, but I definitely feel more comfortable with words. Also a big plus point - it does't feel like an event where I have to start a "training session".

Huge fan of the team & product. They're genuinely *obsessed* with cracking the code on making language-learning effortless, accessible and fun.
Reach out to your friends who are dreaming/planning of moving to Europe, Quebec or Central & South America and have them try Fluent. The hardest part of immigrating is the feeling that your status is inherently entangled with your fluency in the local language(s). There literally isn't a better way to learn a language right now.
