LOVE Flowlist! Keyboard shortcuts took about 1 minute to learn but now feel like superpowers. Incredibly fast list making, prioritizing and organizing. Feels like what Clear app for desktop should have been. Congratulations on a great product!! Edit: No emoji support? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ In this day and age!?!?!
Sebastian
@pddro Thanks for the lovely words. And oh you got me there: I recorded explicit Emoji support as a feature request. You see, everything that requires active support to work competes for my time, and there are millions of features in the backlog πŸ˜‰ In the meantime, you can copy emojis into FL from somewhere else.
Sebastian
@pddro So you can copy unicode emojis from places like this: https://getemoji.com And in FL it will look like this:

Hey @flowtoolz, I *love* the idea! I think the interface could use a little polish and it'd be really nice to navigate by scrolling, but in general I think this is a killer app. I'm going to purchase this to help you develop this further. I think you have a really good idea here that could turn into something truly awesome!
Sebastian
@panphora Thanks for your encouraging and specific feedback! I recorded the scrolling (swiping) as a feature request. I'd be curious about some more hints in which directions you envision the interface could be polished. I'm not a designer and too close to the thing, so I honestly appreciate any outside perspective on that matter πŸ˜ƒ

@flowtoolz Definitely keep it simple like it is now. That makes it more powerful because there's fewer mental modals to jump through when you're writing things out. A lot of the improvements I would make would be tiny details, like typography, spacing, margins, padding, colors, etc. I think hiring a designer for 4-5 hours to make a mockup would be worth it.
Sebastian
@panphora Got it. Valuable advice. Not that you know a guy?
David Miranda
@flowtoolz I know these guys are great: https://rationalcreation.com/ Also, you can find some great talent on Dribbble.

Hey! Congrats on the launch, what's the early bird advantage?
David Miranda
@aaronoleary Updates for life for a one time price. No paid upgrades. Users who join later might have to sign up for a subscription or paid upgrades.
Sebastian
@aaronoleary Thanks buddy. That means users who buy what is a little app now for a little price will have a big app later for no additional costs. There will not be anything like a "new" app Flowlist 2.0 that you'll have to purchase again. You get all future features as free updates while the full version price will increase. It's a small way to sort of crowdfund the app and rewarding its backers.
Sebastian
@aaronoleary @panphora Yes, in case I completely dump one time purchase in favour of a subscription, those who bought it can still restore their purchase.

Awesome! Looks a bit similar to https://gingkoapp.com or https://nulis.io, but with a little twist. Pretty cool, I hope it takes off!
Sebastian
@lumenwrites Wowzers. Thanks, I thought I know the landscape, but I didn't know these. Might take inspiration from gingkoapp πŸ˜ƒ
