Picture this. Your client has just asked you to add a new employee to the Meet the Team page on their Webflow site. No biggie, right?
“Oh, by the way, I need them to appear just after Henrietta in Accounts”.
Sure, Webflow has an option to display items sorted by a CMS field. And yep, you’re a rockstar dev so you already added a field for this when you created the Collection way back when.
Even so, you’re now faced with the painstaking task of editing multiple CMS Items to update the order fields and get them displaying in the right order.
Surely you should just be able to drag & drop it like it’s hot? Well now you can!

@mattsims been using this for a little bit now and it's super handy!
Only recommendation that might be nice to have in the future is a Chrome Extension of some sort so you can stay in the native Webflow Designer, but regardless this works really well and makes moving CMS items a breeze.
@jvckson Thanks so much for your feedback, it really means a lot!
Incidentally, we recently came across a Chrome Extension with similar functionality:
https://chrome.google.com/websto...
It does have some limitations (the order field *has* to be named 'Sort Order' for example), but it may be what you're looking for :)
Breathe a sigh of relief every time you press that sync button. Reorder is a product we designed in-house to help us easily manage the re-ordering of collection items on Collection-heavy Webflow projects. If it saving you time or confusion, it's all been worth while. 😃
