We've been combining team building and video/conf/Zoom/Teams meetings By doing synchronized tastings So literally, on our agenda, in the same way we'd have breaks and lunch allotted— we'd do this synchronized tasting— depending on the hour, it might a novel light alcoholic beverage or in the morning, a light coffee (have to satisfy common denominators among attendees) And it's a great way to support local small businesses! All this asynchronous stuff is further disjointing an already fragmented community :( -- It's not just food, it's "time capsules" So we have family members or friends save enveloped messages that they'd be willing to share with the loved one's coworks (kind of like the 2021 version of "take your kid to work day") And we all experience that "new thing" together, in a synchronized way — it centers us as a team, in a way that "alignment exercises" and drills cannot
