Hi Product Hunt Community,
I'm Luca, the CEO of FlexRem.
On February 14th, 2024, we launched our first MVP version on Product Hunt. Over the past four months, we have analyzed extensive data flows using Algolia and Amplitude and listened to feedback from our community, Product Hunt users, and various companies.
Today, we are excited to present the final product for recruiting and remote and flex jobs, incorporating significant post-MVP changes:
๐) ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฆ (๐๐๐):
We have developed a system that enables companies to analyze data and gain insights for each application.
๐) ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ:
These dedicated pages for each flex or remote company are available to both users and businesses. Companies can enhance their employer branding and attract new candidates by showcasing their perks and benefits. Users can compare offers and companies based on these features.

๐) ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ:
We have expanded from five search modes presented on February 14th to thirty modes. These improvements include options such as "How do you want to work?", "Job Categories", "Where do you want to work?", "Type of Jobs", "Job Categories and Industries", and "Top Companies", are made possible by our new Company Pages.
๐) ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ :
Our initial AI release allows users to receive job offers more aligned with their search interests. This feature ensures closer matches between candidate searches and job offers through integrated AI-powered search capabilities.
โณ We aim to revolutionize the creation of distributed job opportunities, making them accessible to people and companies worldwide.
โ๏ธ Your feedback and thoughts are invaluable to our team, helping us add new features, integrations, and design solutions tailored to your needs.

@andreas_sohns Thanks a mil for the upvote and comment! โค๏ธ
I'm curious now (as always): What did you like most about the new advanced search features?
@anastasiia_stepko Thanks for your comment and for the important question.
I'll divide my answer into two points:
1) Difference between FlexRem and other platforms mentioned in the question:
โข Search Capabilities: On FlexRem, you have five ways of searching for flex and/or remote jobs. On other platforms, you typically have two queries: "what" and "where," with "where" always being "remote." But what does "remote" really mean? The reality is that it can be divided into many segments. For example, we offer users the opportunity to A/B test for remote jobs if they want to find opportunities in two or more countries with just one click.
โข Quality: On FlexRem, the goal is to find the right offers related to what you are looking for: flex, remote from a specific country, remote countries, and remote anywhere. You won't find on-site jobs here.
โข Marketplace Expansion: FlexRem started with jobs, but it is becoming a marketplace of services for both B2B and B2C (coming soon).
2) Repetitive Vacancies:
โข Data Quality: This is connected to the quality of our data mentioned earlier. Quality here means that without different classifications of work types, it is impossible to validate a job type in terms of how you will work. For this reason, the UX of FlexRem is fully focused on a comprehensive search view.
โข Multi-Channel Posting: Some companies can repost their job offers through their ATS on multiple platforms. Therefore, one job offer can be seen simultaneously on more than 50 job boards. This is called multi-channel posting.
โข For FlexRem, it is different because you can find jobs that meet all of our validation requirements. Additionally, we offer companies the opportunity to publish their jobs directly on FlexRem with our own template and requirements, plus a company page where every user can find their benefits and perks.
Sorry for the long answer, but I thought it was better to provide all the info and behind-the-scenes details because your question was really impactful and interesting.
Let me know if you are curious about any other details.
Thanks :)
Looks great! Love the overall UI/UX, A suggestion: I didn't notice an alert system to notify me whenever a position is open for my selected job roles, it would be great to have one! Congrats!
@chandula Thanks for the upvote and your feedback!
Yes, FlexRem is focused on creating the best candidate experience with many new UX/UI experiments.
Personally, I believe a product today needs to be UX/UI-centric to attract more users, increase engagement, and achieve better ROI.
Your feedback about notification alerts is fantastic.
Weโre working on it, and it's on our roadmap. Currently, you can't create an account on FlexRem, but you can perform all actions without one.
This is why you don't see SSO or a regular login/signup section yet.
But it's coming! I promise :) Thanks again for raising this point.
Hi Luca, it is really an inspiring idea! I can't wait to try it!!! Congrats on your launch!
However, how does it solve and guarantee the payment problem? People use different payment methods. Online and cross-border cooperation will let people feel insecure.
Hi @claudyah! how are you?
Thanks for your comment, support, and important question.
Regarding your query, could you clarify if your question about the payment process is related to companies or the users of FlexRem?
Hereโs some background on how FlexRem handles payments:
โข It is 100% free for all global users.
โข Companies pay โฌ29.90 for each job offer, which includes ATS and a company page.
โข Currently, weโre working on adding the salary range to every job offer. Although itโs not yet visible for all job offers, this is our top priority for the upcoming weeks.
Let me know your thoughts and if my response addressed your important question.
Thanks a mil! :)
@claudyah Thanks for the clarification and the fair request :)
Currently, on FlexRem, we can't provide data and information about salary ranges. However, it's coming soon. This is aligned with our social mission and culture code, where we aim to bridge the gap between fairness and equal opportunities, starting with salary transparency.
For now, the only way to address this (besides adding salary ranges to job offers) is to create a benchmark between job titles, industries, countries, and years of experience.
The benchmark can help resolve part of the issue between companies and professional workers.
Salaries, in the end, are divided into two aspects: getting an overview of potential earnings (where the benchmark helps) and learning how to negotiate the salary range. The latter is crucial and will involve a significant educational process to benefit more people worldwide.
Liked the overall build. A few suggestions though -
1) I feel inconsistent data exist at the core of job listing and unless companies fill a std form, this will exist. Do you plan to solve this by fetching a few more details like CTC, no. of workdays, what does the interview process look like etc. Also, in general, there are websites that provide you the listing of jobs but there are very few that tells the candidate what will happen beyond it. For eg- Who will take my interview and his profile link, how long do they take to revert, Is there an assignment involved and so on and so forth.. it would be nice to see your thoughts on this
2) I am curious to know your revenue model.
@kehui_guo so happy about ur comment! thanks :) I hope that FlexRem can be the right tool can support you on this switch and the right change :) Let's keep in touch on LinkedIn too!
@fabianlindner Thanks Fabian for your thought and feedback.

Hey! The focus on remote and flex work opportunities is timely.
I'm curious how you verify the legitimacy of job postings, especially for remote positions?
Do you have any features to help candidates showcase their remote work skills or experience?
Congrats on the launch, Luca!
Hey @kyrylosilin! how are you?
Thanks for your great question โค๏ธ It is very important to understand how FlexRem works.
Your question is actually related to how we built FlexRem in February for all users worldwide who are looking for new remote and flexible jobs.
We created our own IT infrastructure with multiple requirements to validate all job offers from our internal tool.
Why is it flexible? And why is it remote? If it's remote, from which country or market? This is part of our quality validation process. At the same time, today we're presenting our ATS where all companies can post jobs using our template, which ensures quality for candidates.
On FlexRem, you can only find jobs that have been live for a maximum of 30 days. Not more than 30 days. Unlike other platforms, we automatically remove expired job offers. We don't want to show an inflated number of job offers just to say "Hey, we have 120K+ Remote and Flex Job Offers online" when the real number is lower.
Today, we're launching five new products in one. However, our primary focus is to increase the quality of our candidate journey, and my goal is always to add new features (mandatory salary range is the next milestone).
Let me know if I missed anything related to your question or if you would like more data.
I'm always here for any other types of questions, doubts, and ideas.
Thanks for your lovely support and curiosity, and congratulations on your new adventure (I'll start following it).
