Infinity Dashboard allows you to track anything through its beautifully organized interface. With over 35 built-in modules, you can monitor things ranging from current weather, travel times, website stats, stock prices, birthdays and much more. You can even write your own custom modules to track almost anything you want.

It is a vertical version of TextBar, which I also use. It is great for the strictly text only items to be viewed, but not very interactive as TextBar. So, my interactive items are on TextBar, and my pure text only ones on Infinity Dashboard. Nice complement.

Pros:

Doesn't take up a lot of menubar space, Easy to configure, many premade modules, and you can make your own!

Cons:

Text only, not interactive

Rishi
Thanks for the great review! Menubar space is at a premium these days and we really didn't want to create an app that overloads the menubar with more icons. Infinity Dashboard aims to be the single place you'll check to stay updated with pretty much whatever you want. No need to keep checking several websites to keep an eye on important stats. Definitely let us know if you have any specific modules that you think will be a worthy inclusion to the app :)

This is amazing! I love it! Are the default modules open source? I would love to contribute to some. For example the Reddit Karma one could have an option to display submission and comments karma. Anyhow, amazing job!! I can't wait to see where this will go! I'll try it for a few days and if I keep using it i'll definitely buy a copy!
Rishi
@duiker101 Thank you so much! We are in the process of open sourcing all modules on GitHub. For the time being, you can find the source code of the modules within the app binary Infinity Dashboard.app/Resources/Modules - I will update here once the modules are all on GitHub :)
Rishi
@duiker101 Modules are now on Github :) https://github.com/fiplab/Infini...

This is really cool Rishi, great job. You should consider creating an integration with Integromat (also on PH today) which will allow anyone to create workflows to receive updates on the Infinity Dashboard! Man I'd use it for so many things!

I like the dark mode skin! Is there any way to do conditional formatting? I'd love to be able to change the size/font/color based on a value range, to show me at a glance what has changed.

Is there any way I can be updated whenever user created modules are made?
Rishi
@coconidodev Not at the moment. For now, you have to check http://infinitydashboard.com/ and filter by community created modules.

Please make it a widget for Android, that'd be dope! (even more if in sync) - great job anw, looks sharp!
Rishi
@tgerin No plans for Android atm. Thanks for the encouragement! :)
Rishi
@tgerin We just released web support via the Mac app. The Mac app pushes live data to a locally hosted webpage, that you can expose to the internet via localtunnel. This means Infinity Dashboard can now be accessed on any platform using a web browser (as long as you have the Mac app running).

Really like it! It's like multiple apps in one. Only thing I don't like is that the app stays in the dock instead of just the admin bar like other apps. Could be a deal-breaker.
Rishi
@bendebayle Thanks for the review! You can remove the app from the Dock via the preferences panel :)

Hey PH Community! We’re super excited to be launching Infinity Dashboard for Mac - a beautifully organized app for keeping track of virtually anything that’s important to you. Infinity Dashboard has over 35 modules, such as current weather, exchange rates, stock prices, countdown reminders, Amazon product price tracking, App Store sales, Clicky web stats, travel times, Zendesk open tickets, Fitbit stats, YouTube subscribers, Facebook fans and so much more. See the full list here: http://infinitydashboard.com/ What’s also great is that you can easily create custom modules to work within the app. All you need is knowledge of Javascript and to follow our super straightforward documentation here: http://infinitydashboard.com/tut... We’d love to get your feedback on our version 1.0 - Anyone can try out the app for free for 7 days. Also, as a thank you, you can grab a 20% discount using coupon code: INFINITY20 if you decide you want to purchase the app :) Also let us know if you think of a module we should consider adding to the app!

@rmodha Looks great! I would love some kind of Todoist integration :D and integration with my exist.io data would be amazing, they have an API :D

I'm sorry for being blunt, but it's not beautiful. It's not ugly, it's not great, it's just okay. Please invest more in the UI.
Rishi
@dmitry_gorshkov Thanks for the feedback. However, our belief is that a beautiful design for such an app is one that places the focus on the data, not on distracting needless fancy design.
Rishi
@dmitry_gorshkov This is already possible. On the emoji picker, just select the 'blank' square tile. It's the first option in the picker popup.

Any plans for an iOS version?
Mad Mat
Quite a number of modules you've got there, keep it up. Also, are is this Mac only? Are you planning on doing a web version? Cheers

I love the idea and it is definitely something I would be using. Unfortunately it is for Mac only. Any plans on making a SaaS version of Infinity?
Csaba Kissi
@footer What do you mean about the SaaS version? Subscription based plugins or something like that?
Amin
@csaba_kissi Something like Trello, where it's available online as a platform rather than being downloaded
Csaba Kissi
@footer I don't think its possible as there are too many OS related plugins, like battery life, free HDD space and so on. SaaS version wont be able to access these.
Amin
@csaba_kissi Correct, but for me personally those are not important. What I love from your dashboard are things such as important dates, Amazon price trackers, finance data and so on. There are many OS related plugins available but I don't know a platform that contains all the remaining features in one place nicely.
Csaba Kissi
@footer I'm not a maker of this app 😎. I've started something like you mention few months ago (SaaS with plugins) but the project was abandoned because I thought there is no demand.

I hope there is no finger snapping and disintegration around here

Great product! @rmodha would you be interested to add an emotion analytic module to your list?
mood moof
Great one! But it's a little expensive for me :)
Jamie
Hey @rmodha Any plans for more modules in the future!? 😍
Matt Romero
@rmodha love the idea. I’ve been looking for something similar. Instead of a list view having colored charts and graphs would make this epic! Also including more modules that show social media stats and website analytics.
