@chihee_kim @rajan_ramachandran Thank you! Interestingly, a lot of our users are relatively experienced folks (adults) who are discovering new concepts in personal finance. So not just for newbies.
@alex_papageorge Cool thanks Alex. Couldn't agree more that youngsters need it! Our current offering is targeted to adults (Millennials) today given record levels of financial distress within that segment, but we hope to be able to have content specific for youngsters too.

I’m Chihee, one of the makers of Finny.
The lack of basic personal finance education is causing more and more young adults to feel stressed, live paycheck-to-paycheck and rack up lots of debt. That’s because learning about personal finance today is hard, time-consuming, piecemeal and sporadic. This is a product that I have been looking forward to for so long. Easily accessible and good quality content about personal finance is already rare and something that is presented in such an enjoyable format is just awesome. Looking forward to using it to level up my financial knowledge.

I tried the product, and I liked the learning approach and the fact that you're using gamification mechanisms. Are you planning to launch an app also for this product?
@amariei_daniel Thanks Amariei! Yes, we do plan to build an app in the near future. In the meantime though, it's mobile-friendly and works on all devices.

@william_mccolgan @chihee_kim the only thing I can come up with, and this is really a stretch, is that I sent it on to my teen nephew to whom I think it would be valuable, and some of the references are currently quite US specific. When you take over the world with this you may want to localize for different credit regimes? I think it's a wonderful concept, and incredibly well executed.
@william_mccolgan @chihee_kim Currently, the content is US specific because certain topics in personal finance like tax, credit scores, debt mgmt have really important US specific rules/regs that folks in the US need to know. Having said that, what's been interesting is that some of our earliest users also come from other markets like Germany, UK who find the educational content mostly relevant. But, we'll definitely at some future point localize to specific markets across all the topics!
Hi! Such a cool product! I'd love it to be an app. Do you make money with affiliations or will the app become subscription based at some point?
@mart_vainu Great you like it! Did you like the game-based learning aspect or the discussions? Not an app yet, but stay tuned! We make revenue in a few different ways now (affiliate being one of them). The game-based learning is free and will stay free.
Super cool! As a big personal finance fan, I'm always looking for ways to improve my knowledge and help others do the same.
