Hey, PH 👋 I'm Pedro, co-founder at Findly (YC S22). Findly is your AI data assistant for Google Analytics. 📖 Background: My co-founders and I have many years of experience working with and developing data products. Before Findly, I led analytics and machine learning teams at Twitter and Google. This experience exposed me to the complexities users face in extracting relevant insights quickly from their data. The need for expert intervention for even simple queries was a recurring challenge. 🔧 The Problem We're Solving: - Navigating Google Analytics can be daunting, especially post GA3 to GA4 migration. - Advanced insights often require data scientist expertise, even for basic questions. - Answering simple questions can be time-consuming. 🧠 Findly's Solution: - A user-friendly, fast chat interface to access GA data. - Advanced data analysis capabilities. - A collaborative, centralized platform for data exploration and reporting. - Features to tag, manage conversations, and use pre-made report templates. - Export options to Excel and PDF. - Save and reuse your preferred prompts easily. 🌟 Our Belief: Efficient marketing resource allocation is crucial for business success. With Findly, you can focus more on other critical business areas. 🫰Special Offer: If you face any of the challenges mentioned or are curious about our solution, sign up for a 1-month free trial at https://dashboard.findly.ai/. @pedromnasc Findly seems like a great tool for simplifying Google Analytics with its AI-assisted, user-friendly interface. It's impressive how it addresses common data analysis challenges, especially for teams. Quick question: Does Findly include predictive analytics or trend forecasting features? Excited to explore its capabilities!
Pedro Nascimento
@sichen_shao hi Sichen! It does include predictive analytics and trend forecast features, it is not perfect at the moment, but it works out of the box multiple times even with not super well defined questions. The more specific you are with your question, the better will be the performance of.the algorithm. You can expect also big improvements in the next months. 👌
Pedro Nascimento
@mohini_shewale appreciate the love 🙏

@pedromnasc any plans to support other analytics engines like matomo?

Been waiting for something like this! Quick question. Can the prompts be hocked up to a slack channel? GA4 -> findly -> report in a slack channel
Pedro Nascimento
@sentry_co we will add support to it pretty soon! Follow us on Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/company... or Twitter: https://twitter.com/findlyai for updates

It's an interesting approach to let all the tracking get done with Google and just focus on making it easier to understand. I feel GA4 has been such a downgrade in UX.

Managing Google analytics data can feel like walking uphill in a flow of molasses. I greatly welcome this innovative tool for improving my management and experience with making use of massive amounts of critical information.
Pedro Nascimento
@empowered thanks! That's one of our main goals, we created Findly to make it super easy to manage and collaborate the "data journeys" with your teammates

@empowered Thanks Larry, feel free to give it a try: https://dashboard.findly.ai/signup

great landing page! As a non-marketing person, I always have difficulty getting the data I want from GA. With your tool it can be much easier to get and understand that data in a way better & less time consuming way.
Bayazid Malikov
Great idea! We were discussing how to make sense of the data on GA yesterday. Would love to give it a try. Are you thinking of integrating with other tools like hotjar too?
Pedro Nascimento
@bayazid_malikov hey yes! We plan to add more integrations in the future too.

Launching soon!
Congratulations on the launch of Findly! The user-friendly chat interface, advanced analysis capabilities, and collaborative platform make it a game-changer. How do you envision Findly evolving to address emerging trends in analytics?
Lou Maciel
hi @exo_cody, that's very much possible today if you ask for it: If you mean proactively, it's something we're working on!
Jerry Zhang
Definitely a good idea, I have always been confused by the Google Analytics watch face🥱, I just don’t know if there are any privacy issues🤔
Pedro Nascimento
@hacksman Hi Jerry! Privacy and security are one of the cores of our product. We don't use any of your core data, the only thing we need is the overall schema of your data, which dimensions you have, which metrics, their description etc. You can check more here: https://www.findly.ai/privacy

Mein Gott. GA is so so bad to use, if this works it will be massive. Good luck folks!
Max Peter
Maybe I don't have to switch off of GA after all! I usually could get by after spending some time there but just finding the data isn't the end, getting the reports done took some time as well - having both done in a matter of minutes seems almost too convenient, I'll have Findly on my list for 2024 :) One question that came up when I've been browsing through all the information: You mention the collaboration factor, can I share my favorite prompts with my colleagues so they can get the same information in case I'm on vacation or sth?
Pedro Nascimento
@max_peter Hey Max, yes you can share with them and have them even contribute to it if needed! It is super simple to use and you can even organize them in different tags https://ibb.co/yhw96Qq
YG Yichen Guo
Very Cool! Curious about the tech behind it. How do you make LLM aware of all the variables in GA. Do you put them in all the prompt? That’d be expensive if you use GPT4
Pedro Nascimento
@yichen_guo1 hey, the trick here is to use a multi-stage retrieval system. Each stage uses a model more powerful than the previous step. Fine-tuning also also helps to use smaller models.
YG Yichen Guo
@pedromnasc love it. Curious what you think about listing all the permutation of queries and search / RAG it. I assume this approach wouldn’t be as accurate as yours right?
Kazane Shimizu
Congratulations on the launching🚀 Google Analytics indeed boasts numerous features, though at times, it might be a bit excessive. I suppose many folks just want to effortlessly obtain the information they need. A straightforward request is all that's required. This is fantastic!
Moon
This is incredible! Findly seems like a revolutionary tool for Google Analytics users. Fantastic work, I'm eagerly looking forward to testing it out!
Bon
Wow, this is amazing! GA must express gratitude for Findly. Earlier, Simple Analytics had already supported a similar feature.
Abhilash Chowdhary

It's interesting to see a platform that simplifies data analysis. Does the tool offer guidance for beginners in data science?
Pedro Nascimento
@nickman it does, you don't need to know how to code with Findly :)
Andrew K.
I appreciate the focus on making data exploration more collaborative. Are there any unique features for team-based projects?
