Manage all customer feedback, bug reports, and feature requests in a single place. Announce updates through changelogs & visualize everything that you are working on through the product roadmap.
@jesuskiteque Thank you π This is our 5th iteration of the UI, I found it really difficult to not hate the previous designs after a few weeks of releasing them π
Congrats on launch - definitely an important startup problem to address! π
Are you at all familiar with Fibery? Have been using them since recently and am pretty happy with how they are handling this functionality π€π€
Hey @german_mikulski, thanks π I have not heard of Fibery before, but from a quick look, they seem to be more focused on managing feedback & tasks internally. Featurebase's main use case is for capturing user feedback - companies can create public feedback boards, where their users can submit feedback and vote on features they like.
@german_mikulski Hi German, could you share an example of feedback board made with Fibery? I'm asking because I'm working on competitive product productroad.com
Hey everyone π
In 2020 I was pissed off... I was working on an Instagram tool that had hundreds of users - all keeping me up at night through live chat.
Over 80% of the conversations were people requesting features or reporting bugs. Most of the time we just forgot what was said, other times it was scattered across Slack channels, Excel spreadsheets, and chaotic Trello boards.
We desperately needed a better solution to keep our customers happy, and more importantly, let me watch the new Kanye documentary without having to respond to chat messages.
So I started looking for solutions and found one - public feedback boards. With feedback boards, your users can post all their input on a public board. All of it will be conveniently gathered together in a single organized place for you to make sense of it. Users can upvote features they like, and it also notifies them when you respond to posts or launch a new feature.
It was the perfect solution, but there was another problem - the existing solutions were expensive or/and ugly. As devs, my co-founder and I refused to spend hundreds of $$$ every month on something we could create ourselves in a few weeks - so we built Featurebase (which took a lot more than a few weeks lol).
Featurebase plugs into your workflow and helps you build products your customers love. In addition to the feedback boards, you can also publish your product roadmap and announce updates through a changelog.
Join 300+ companies such as User.com and Cuttles.io that are already using Featurebase to build customer-obsessed products. Create your free public feedback board in 1 minute: https://featurebase.app/
TLDR; We had set unrealistic expectations with live chat for our support. Our tool was technical, so it was difficult to hire someone to do the job for us. I started looking for solutions and found public feedback boards, which solved all our user feedback problems. Existing solutions were expensive or/and ugly, so we built Featurebase.
This is a really valuable concept. By far one of the most common workflows, and streamlining it in this way makes for a huge improvement to general efficiency and closing that feedback loop. Great idea!
