?makers I have purchased this template and it seems to be very powerful and quite detailed. Never thought I could do these things in notion. I do however have two questions:
1. How will template updates work? For example, if you release version 1.1, will I have to duplicate the new template and move the projects from the old version into the new one? Will there be any conflicts/incompatibility issues? 🤔
2. When creating new projects, can the start date of the discover stage be set automatically to the day the projects was created (e.g. today's date, instead of Jan 6)? Subsequently, all the other phases should follow suit and be set in the future, but I don't know to what extent does notion allow this kind of functionality.
Nevertheless, I think you have done a great job with this template and I'm looking forward to using it to organize my work a bit better. Keep up the good work!

For the first question, the answer is that probably, I will release the new versions as new templates, so when you receive the update, you will have access to all available versions. Specifically, you will be able to manage new projects with new versions and copy new features to old ones. Your old projects will not be updated automatically (thankfully!)
For the second question, I suggest you go to the generator and remove the dates from the stages (you can also remove or add other things) to have the generator already set up for your needs.

Seems to be quite useful, especially if you're a freelance designer handling big projects. Might be a bit too complex for my needs, but that's just personal preference really (I'm not big on project management really). The figma file helps in making sure each project has its own identity, which I think is a great addition if you are a detail-oriented person. I think the template has all the right tools to cover my needs (and more) and I'm looking forward to customizing it to fit my workflow even better.

Today I am very happy to share this project with you.
I created Notion PM because I had a real need. Since I became a freelancer, I have tried several tools for managing projects with clients.
Almost all of them have been ok, but I've never really found the perfect tool for me. Some too simple, some too complex.
With Notion, I found the right compromise right away and started experimenting a lot.
I created dashboards on dashboards and in the end, with clients' feedback, lots of tutorials and guides, and a few testers (thank you!), I made the perfect dashboard for my workflow.
With Notion PM you can create projects in one click, already structured, in 3 different styles (for now).
