Hello everyone, and thank you @bogomep for hunting us! At V7, day-to-day, we are a training data platform powering the next generation of AI applications for some of the world's leading computer vision teams. More recently, we have also been thinking about how we can develop our own models internally to be used for good. A recent study in PNAS showed that humans have only a 50% chance of correctly identifying AI-synthesised faces. To combat the amplification of misinformation, we have released the Deep Fake Detector. This is still an early release version, but our model will correctly identify StyleGAN images used to generate human faces with 99.29% accuracy. The model does not currently work with Deep Fakes or Face Swaps. We will be releasing more over the coming months and stay tuned for our upcoming product updates where we aim to make AI development more accessible to the wider world.
