Hey there Product Hunters! I created this project after learning about the history of Nestlé, their use of unethical business practices, and the positive changes brought about by boycotts against them. Nestlé's business practices violate many of the values that most of us hold. But they, like other giant corporations, purchase so many brands that it is unreasonable to expect even the most informed of consumers to keep them straight. The result is a predatory ability to trick people into financially supporting practices they find abhorrent. The goal of this project is to "lower the veil" and provide consumers with the transparency they deserve when trying to make an informed choice in line with their beliefs. This problem is so much larger than Nestlé alone, but they stand as a prominent contributor to the problem of companies placing profit over lives. To that end, this website is a free, accessible resource for consumers so that they can know who they are buying from and what they are funding. Thanks for checking it out!
