This can also be used as a CCTV camera app. Although there are alternatives available but are less transparent on Security. This is based on WebRTC protocol, Secure, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by your Google account. Equipped with many useful features such as motion detection, recording, and alerts. The ability to work on local WiFi is particularly useful and also completely free. It also has browser support (webview) which allows monitoring multiple cameras at the same time. Somehow something that sounds a bit like 'I SPY' in combinatioin with ' especially helpful when you do not want to interrupt others to have a quick peek at them' sounds a bit creepy :) What comes to my mind is Beholder (the game). Perhaps position it a bit different? - its not about connection that much, its about security and safety..
