Hello Product Hunters! I'm super keen to share an important Eververse update with you. We just launched "Initiatives" β€” your source of truth for ambitious projects. It helps you get everyone on the same page with a shared source of truth and build out your project by: - πŸ“¦ Creating a living initiative document - πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ Inviting your team to contribute - πŸ”— Linking important resources - πŸ—οΈ Connecting to your Eververse backlog and roadmap - 🎨 Ideating visually with our canvas - πŸ–ΌοΈ Embedding rich content from over 1900 publishers - βœ‰οΈ Sending AI-generated updates direct to inboxes If you're a PM (or you work with a Product team), I'd love to hear your feedback on Eververse Initiatives! Let's build something fantastic together ❀️

love the design and simplicity :)

@ranjanpai__ Thanks Ranjan!
Elke
This sounds interesting, @haydenbleasel! How does the integration with Eververse backlog work? Could it streamline our current workflows effectively? πŸ› οΈ
Hayden Bleasel
@elke_qin Thanks Elke! Basically, you can add any product, feature or group from the Eververse backlog which adds all nested features to the initiative and keeps them in sync. Then it renders this as a mini-roadmap for that initiative. I hope it can streamline your current workflow! Give it a go and let me know your thoughts πŸ™

Super excited to see Eververse Initiatives launched, @haydenbleasel! This is such a game-changer for PMs and teams looking to streamline their projects. The ability to create a living document and invite collaboration is fantastic. Can't wait to explore the visual ideation with the canvas and link everything to our roadmap. Looking forward to giving feedback and seeing how it evolves! Upvoted!

@ema_elisi Thanks Ema! Hope it makes your life easier. Let me know how you go πŸ™

Hey Hayden, I'm curious about how Eververse Initiatives compares to other project management platforms. What would you say are its key differentiators? How steep is the learning curve for teams adopting this system? Congrats on the launch!
Hayden Bleasel
@kyrylosilin RE: Hey Kyrylo, great question! ProductBoard is the main comparison to draw right now, I was previously using them before switching. Their overall feature set is quite strong, but the lack of realtime collaboration, mediocre editing experience and pricing (which, with AI, is ~40% higher than Eververse) is what made me start looking for an alternative. No shade though, they're still a decent tool and we support importing from them. I've seen some other players pop up recently like Cycle. They look interesting, wasn't stoked that they don't have transparent pricing so I couldn't try their app and from what I could find online, is probably 60% more expensive than Eververse. But at least they're focused on the AI space so that's cool. With Eververse, I'm focused on making an AI-native home for PMs with a few keys differentiators: - Focusing heavily on automation and background agents so PMs can spend less time writing weekly updates and tagging feedback; and more time thinking about the direction of the product. - Introducing strong collaboration tools as I can to help PMs work together as a team in realtime. - Helping Product teams effectively measure the results of their efforts. I'll be focusing a lot on that last one pretty soon πŸ™
Hayden Bleasel
@kyrylosilin As for the learning curve, I hope it's quite low but I'd love to hear your feedback!
Star Boat
So cool! congrats on your launch Eververse Initiatives!
Hayden Bleasel
@star_boat Thanks! Added NovelPen to my list of things to check out πŸ™

"Congrats on the launch, Hayden! Initiatives sounds like a solid tool for keeping projects organized and everyone on the same page. Love the idea of a living document that the whole team can contribute to. The integration with Eververse's backlog and roadmap is a great touch too. Can't wait to try it out with my taem.
Hayden Bleasel
@marygarcia Thanks Mary, keen to hear your thoughts after using it! If you need any help while trying it out, hit me up on Intercom and we can chat ✌️

Love the idea of a central hub for collaboration and organization. How does the integration with external links and content work in practice?
Negou Seid
Great product, I love the pricing page. It has such a clean break up of all the benefits. With a product as immersed as this, I find it beneficial to create a demo video to help educate users. Additionally, it could be beneficial to add some stats: 1. cost savings associated with this products vs having multiple tools 2. time saving that's all I can think of for now
Hayden Bleasel
@userinsite Thanks Negou! Appreciate you digging in to the Pricing page πŸ™
Mitia
Fantastic idea @haydenbleasel We’ll definitely give it a try with my team, and let you know our feedback.
Hayden Bleasel
@mitia awesome! Let me know on Intercom if you need any help πŸ™

Congrats on the launch of Eververse Initiatives, @haydenbleasel!The idea of a living initiative document is fantastic! Can’t wait to see how it drives traction! πŸš€
Hayden Bleasel
@isabellarosewilson Thanks Isabella! Got a LOT planned for the future of Initiatives but let me know once you've tried it out πŸ™
Alexander Scott Williams
The ability to create a "living initiative document" is particularly enticing, especially for PMs juggling multiple projects.
Hayden Bleasel
@alexanderscottwilliams Thanks Alexander! It's one of the things I struggled with so I hope it helps others πŸ™
Dror Wayne
Nice work Hayden and team, initiatives looks like a great update that could help product teams really keep aligned on the task. To what extent are other teams able to get involved? And if companies have a feature dev board for users, is there any kind of sync between them?
Hayden Bleasel
@dror_wayne Hey Dror, great questions! I'm designing Eververse so you can bring everyone on - Engineering, Marketing, Sales, etc. This is reflected in the pricing and roles - you only pay for "editors" (your Product team) and everyone else (members i.e. view-only) are free. In terms of sync, you can bidirectionally sync Eververse features with GitHub Issues, Jira Tickets and Linear Tickets. So you can use Eververse to set the direction of your product, then push to those platforms and let Engineering execute there!
Lemuel Albotra
Congratulations on the launch of "Initiatives" with Eververse! πŸŽ‰ It sounds like a fantastic tool for enhancing project management and team collaboration. How does this integrate with other tools and workflows in Eververse, and what are some key benefits that PMs and product teams can expect from using it?
Hayden Bleasel
@lemuel_albotra1 Thanks Lemuel! Initiatives integrates with your backlog primarily β€” you can connect Products, Features and Groups to the initiative for seamless tracking of delivery at a higher level. Additionally, when you generate an Initiative Update with AI, it finds all content that has changed for the initiative since the last update, the uses that to draft an update. Changes include features shipped, links added, subpages created, etc. I'm designing Initiatives specifically to reduce the amount of effort needed for PMs to create a single source of truth and stay up to date on changes to the initiative. Additionally, focusing on the time it takes to craft an update from this and keep stakeholders in the loop.
Dan Siepen
Great work @haydenbleasel - awesome feature addition! :)
Hayden Bleasel
@dansiepen Thanks mate πŸ™
Pierce Schmidt
πŸ’‘ Bright idea
Congratulations Hayden and the team. How does the AI-generated update feature workβ€”can it be tailored to highlight specific milestones?
Hayden Bleasel
@pierceschm56969 Thanks Pierce! Essentially, it finds all content that has changed for the initiative since the last update, the uses that to draft an update. Changes include features shipped, links added, subpages created, etc. You can also modify the update after generating it, but tailoring the AI generation is an interesting idea!
