Developers use Enode’s API to connect and optimize more than 300+ energy devices including EVs, heat pumps, solar inverters and home batteries in their app - all with a single integration.
Hey! It's Nikolai here 😁 Excited to launch on PH. One of the many things we're currently working on is expanding our developer hub and launching some exciting new vendor integrations 👀
Hello Product Hunt! In 2014, @nikolaiheum wanted to hack around with an API to connect to his EV. It wasn’t just difficult, but near impossible.
Fast forward eight years, it’s now possible to connect to individual energy devices like EVs, batteries, solar inverters, and heat pumps. But, connecting to more than one energy device requires significant engineering resources, patience and deep pockets. Developers should be able to focus on building on top of energy devices, rather than focusing on connecting to them. That’s why Enode was born. To solve this challenge.
We’re opening up access to Enode, so anyone can sign up and start building on top of almost any energy device without the complexity, cost or time that usually comes with doing it yourself. Developers can leverage energy device data to build apps that balance the grid and reduce energy costs through smart charging, demand flexibility, or even Vehicle-to-Grid solutions.
We’re excited to see what you build, and would love your feedback along the way. You can get started at no cost, and if you do decide to build something bigger, we’re offering a 50% discount for 6 months to all Product Hunt users! You can sign-up here: https://developers.enode.com/reg...
