I rediscovered Endel past weekend and unfortunately missed your black friday offer - I'm always a few hours/days too late :( - anyway, I fell in love and I'm listening the whole day now - especially the focus mode (which I didn't know is new 😀) - I don't know what you mean with "The X-Y pad" and how to adjust the sounds? You got some video that explains this? Your UI/UX is innovative, but also very confusing - so it basically looks great, but is nearly impossible to figure out for new users - how to adjust anything or is there a way to tell the AI that I prefer some tunes over others? If I don't like some tunes, I just click reload, but is that all? Thanks!

Focus Tune is the brand new soundscape introduced a few weeks ago: you can tweak the sound to your liking by using the tuner pad. While the classic Focus was updated about 6 months ago (I'm wondering how long ago you paused using Endel). It was upgraded with our in-house built AI synthesizer that adds more variability to the sound.
I'm sorry that you find the interface confusing. Haven't you missed the tutorials shown when you use a feature for the first time?
It's not an easy road for an app maker: looking for the right balance between explaining every bit of the app (to show new users around) and keeping the screens minimalistic (to benefit core users who get irritated when they see extra screens). So, dear Product Hunters, how do you deal with this?
@philippkaretov Thanks a lot! I guess I missed it because I can't see it (yet?) on my macOS ap. On iPhone & iPad I found it and there it's also explained. I thought I was missing something entirely. Thanks! (...and I'm looking forward to the christmas promo - but already purchased the subscription for a year - maybe next year :)

As for Endel for Macs, it's been suspended for a while. We decided to redesign the app completely, and the beta version of the new, native app for macOS, will soon be available for testing in our Discord community. Drop by when you have time: https://discord.gg/endelsound
Endel has done it again with Focus Tune!

@philippkaretov i really enjoyed the focus soundscape. the sounds continued to play in my head after i stopped listening, which was actually delightful 😊. to be honest though my first impression was that i was a little confused because i couldn't find how to access what i see in the video, that interactive square with "bright", "energetic", "space" and "mellow" sides. is that available in the paid version? i actually didn't end up getting a free trial
