Elephas helps busy professionals and content writers use AI to save time on day-to-day tasks, such as writing emails, documents, blogs, and social media content. 150+ professionals save up to 12 hours a week using Elephas.
I love Elephas. I use it daily. The price is great, and even though I use it every day my OpenAI costs haven't gone above $10/mo yet. I hit $9 last month, but that took a LOT of work.
The interface is the magic here, no context switching just a few keystrokes and you are rolling with new content variants. Founder has been extremely helpful and open to feedback. The UI is simple, the app is functional not fancy. Right up my alley. Thanks Kamban!
The fact that by being a mac app, it easily integrates with anything that is editable, makes Elephas very powerful! Congratulations on the launch, @kambanthemaker
It's incredible to see a lot of AI tools popping up these days but Elephas stands out since it sits on your Mac. So if you are wondering about hiring a writing assistant, please don't and just use Elephas.
Another thing I love about this tool is the founder, Kamban is building the whole product in public. So join me to support and cheer products like Elephas.
Kamban will be around to answer any questions, so leave a comment or any feedback you think of!
Hello PH community!
I am Kamban, founder of Elephas. I am excited to present our community with Elephas. Thank you, Sharath, for hunting it for me.
I started using GPT-3 in 2021 and was amazed by its potential. But only a few people realize the full potential of it. I reviewed many AI tools, and most of them require us to switch to a different interface and copy-paste the results.
Then, I decided to build a tool to help busy professionals take advantage of GPT-3 on a day-to-day basis, right in their favorite apps.
I believe AI should extend our capabilities instead of replacing us. As a solo indie hacker, Elephas is my way of making that happen.
Think of Elephas as a tool that lies between Grammarly and JasperAI. Already, 150+ professionals use Elephas daily, and their feedback has been extremely positive.
You can write new content, such as emails, blogs, and documents, rewrite your content in different styles, and use Elephas as a personal assistant to augment your writing. All right in your favorite Mac applications.
That’s not all. Elephas has many utility features, including,
- Repurposing content for social media
- Fixing grammar mistakes
- Generating Google Sheets/Excel formulas from instructions
- Write headlines that convert
- Create a Keynote presentation from a title
- Understand any technical code
- Turn your instruction into a Terminal command
The 4.x version in the pipeline will add a lot more capabilities, including Mac Spotlight integration. Stay tuned.
Let me know what you think. I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
If you're looking for an app that can make your writing faster, Elephas is a must-try.
I've been using it for the last few days, and I'm amazed by its potential.
Congrats on the launch, Kamban
Love it, congratulations @kambanthemaker .
I've witnesses your journey from up close, including the 10+ failed projects before this. Your journey and vision is inspirational. I think there's a lot of value in using AI as an enabler instead of a replacement of human creativity. And Elephas does that job perfectly. Highly recommend the product to fellow makers and creators on PH
Good work on this. The founder has been working in this space and doing amazing work.
If you haven't, you should try this.
Congratulations of this launch!!
@ban_abuse Sorry about that. I have given a caculation, it must be only a few dollars per month for average use cases. In other words, your total cost per month will not exceed $10 while some of the others AI tools are way more costlier. But, we may eventually remove the OpenAI account dependency.
Actively use this app. I follow Kamban’s progress on Twitter. It’s a great tool if you want to use AI in your Mac workflow without jumping apps. Look forward to seeing this app grow.
I'm really enjoying the application so far! I'm still testing it out, but it looks like it could be really beneficial.
The one thing I found annoying was that you don't know when an application is opened in the top bar. I was restarting my laptop when I thought something was wrong :D
Great job and keep pushing! 🚀
@kambanthemaker, question for you. Does the limited lifetime membership come with the excel formula portion? If not, am I able to purchase the lifetime membership and get a discount on the pro?
Thanks,
Chris
@kambanthemaker - Seeing this guy working relentlessly since the very start, starting his indie hacking journey. It's really uplifting. Wishing him good luck for the launch, lots to learn as I'm doing something in this domain :)
