Appbase-droid is a lightweight Android client for ElasticSearch with a mere 1MB footprint. We have also kept Java compatibility in mind and this is ~20x lighter than the official client library.

Hey PH'ers 👋, appbase-droid is the missing Android client for ElasticSearch. When we started building it, there were no well-maintained client libraries, something that's true even today. It's lightweight by design, adding only 1MB to your app's bundle size. Looking forward to any feedback!
