Been using Drops for some time now. Absolutely the best way to learn a language on the move. Keep up the great work @farkasdan

Looks like a nice app! I'm wondering, can I try this on my 6s or do I need the new gizmo from this year?
Daniel Farkas
@zcserei yes, definitely! The AR function is available for all ARkit enabled devices: iPhone 6S and above, 2017 iPad, iPad pros, etc). Although 6s is the minimum it runs decently on it!

Hi PH crowd, we built this effortless visual language learning tool which is a godsend for those who procrastinated picking up a new language. And the AR practice addition brings the fun to a whole new level :)

Paid yearly sub guys. UX is amazing! Does it go beyond single words and more like commonly used expressions? If you can make it playful too would be awesome AR is not your best thing. UX/UI, the gaming like experience is! keep focusing on this!

Tried many AR apps but finally, this one makes really sense. Nice job
Daniel Farkas
@tamasszakal yup, Drops' signature visual teaching method and swipe based navi is an ideal base for AR. But we are just scratching the surface of potentials with this practice mode. A crazy new learning module is coming for Chinese and Japanese learners in January ;)

Looking forward to the new AR improvements!

Pros:

Makes interacting with new languages a very effortless experience

Cons:

I understand this is by design, but apparently this will not take you to fluency

It would help if you would add-a link to the iOS and Android app at the description 😉 (I have seen the Google Play link but no for App Store). I would like to try Drops. Thanks!!
Daniel Farkas
@raullopezgn the title of this hunt leads you directly to the appstore but here ya go to be safe :D https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/...

Brilliant! No more sticky notes everywhere around the house...instead virtual sticky notes anywhere! :)

I've tried multiple language learning apps but Drops is the one I keep coming back to. In 5 minutes, you learn a few new words, brush up some old ones, and learn through association by dragging words to photos.

Not cared much for the AR feature (have always thought it was more of a gimmick and not as useful) but I love how the word's audio comes on when a user inputs their answer, which replaces the "ding" sound whenever a user gets the word correct. It makes sense, it reinforces knowledge, and I remember the word because I'm an aural learner.

In a world of negative feedback loops, this one has a lot of positive reinforcement and I absolutely love it.

Pros:

Very simple drag-and-drop experience to learn by association

Cons:

I can't believe I'm saying this but... 5 minutes is too short!

I've tried any language learning app I could my hands on, but this is really the one I've benefitted from the most. Have a subscription, and it's totally worth it.

Pros:

Such a cool idea. Use Drops all the time and this should be even better

Cons:

Please add Armenian!

Csortán Beáta

i use it every day to challange myself

Pros:

so much fun while learning

Cons:

always

Angelica Limgenco Serenio

ill get back to you after a few days

Pros:

super cool to learn words!

Cons:

still new to learning

Eurolinguiste

I've used Drops for more than a year now and it's one of my favorite ways to learn new vocabulary.

Pros:

Simple, intuitive, beautiful design

Cons:

not really
