Hey everyone, Nick here from DragApp.com. The average person spends 6.3 hours per day in their email, yet email is not productive, not collaborative and not an all-in-one place to do the tasks you need to. Email is broken. 🚀🚀 Drag turns Gmail into an organized inbox instantly. We're officially launching Drag Pro on Product Hunt today! 🚀🚀 We have 31,000 users and some super-cool companies such as Uber, AirBnB, Spotify and Netflix to make their inbox awesome. Now it's time to share Drag Pro with everyone :) I'd love your feedback on Drag Pro. We've made it a more powerful experience where you can: » Customize columns in your Drag board » Drag ‘n drop between columns » Add tasks to your inbox » Checklists on emails » Notes on emails » Due dates on emails » Unlimited boards » Team boards (coming soon) We have a really active community also and here's our 12 month Product Roadmap: trello.com/b/41FGtlod/drag-public-roadmap We're here all day to answer questions so please let us know! Thanks Nick
Nick Timms
@surfy Hey Mark, completely agree. We're trying to make inboxes more efficient so less time is spent there. FYI, here's the US article suggesting these numbers: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/e...
David Mondok
Love the idea but does Drag work without giving the extension permissions to read my emails or do you require full access?
Duda Bardavid
Hey @davidm Drag needs these permissions to be able to organize your Emails into a different layout. But don't worry, these permissions are not any different from several tools out there (try to download a sample of email tools) and we are super-safe! You can read everything about this topic here: https://www.dragapp.com/help/sec... Hope it helps!
Bassil Ouais
@davidm @dudabardavid so by accepting the "read " permission, you will be able to collect only the emails subject and header ONLY? and what about the contents of the emails?
Duda Bardavid
@davidm @bassilouais we do not handle the email content, this is done through Google's OAuth. When you click on an email for example, we call on OAuth to grab and display the email body. Hope this helps :)
Manuel Kraus
That's a brilliant solution, I've been using a hack for years which gave me this kind of functionality. Great job guys!
Nick Timms
@manuel_kraus thank you! What was the hack? a quick Gmail multiple inbox/label solution?
Nick Timms
@manuel_kraus how's the hack working for you? FYI - launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time. today).
Alexandra Balkova

Testing for 2 months already, downloaded in December. Despite the bugs, I can not stop using it, cause for now I can't imagine my inbox not being perfectly organized as it was before. I see product is definitely improving, so I believe the team will deal with all the bugs & conflicts with other extensions. Cause Drag helps me a lot. Thanks for the product.

Pros:

Super easy to manage inbox

Cons:

Slow loading, bugs with missing letters from different columns, conflict with other extensions

Nick Timms
Hey Alexandra, great to hear from you again! :) Hahah. Thanks for being so prompt with jumping in to explain your point of view on Drag. We have loaaaaddssss planned. Thanks for hanging in there. Also, seeing it through a lot of the load speed issues. We launched a significant update last week so good to catch up on that too!
Nick Timms
Hey Alexandra, just an FYI, lot's of the slow loading and bugs are now fixed. We have launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time).
Duda Bardavid
@alexandra_balkova we are on Product Hunt today again, launching our new, revamped design along with a flat pricing for unlimited users! We're #5 of the day at the moment, would love to hear your feedback :)
Aidan Special

The team is super active and seem to be always coming out with tiny quality improvements. The most recent one speeding up the loading time of the tool. Really helps prioritize emails if your that kind of person.

Pros:

Great Kanban style board with customizable titles and shared email boards for your team (in the paid edition). Cuts down on the clutter.

Cons:

If you have 500+ emails in your inbox, its going to be slow. But you shouldn't be sitting on that many emails anyway; right?

Nick Timms
Haha, each to their own Aidan! I was a big hoarder of emails and Drag's slow load time forced me not to be. Not sure if that is a good thing! None-the-less, really happy on the kind words about team and improvements. Keep feeding back to us. Here to help!
Nick Timms
Hey Aidan, 500+ emails shouldn't be slow anymore :) We have actually launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time as it should solve any load issues you historically had).
Nick Timms
Hey everyone, I want to let you know we are live, today, on Product Hunt for Drag Team. You can see it here: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback and I'll answer any questions there. Drag Team is the best way to Share your Inbox in Gmail, in Trello-like boards. Share company emails like sales@ and your own email like john@ right from inside Gmail. Drag allows teams to create shared boards right from inside their inbox, eliminating the extra steps of navigating to multiple apps to organize their day. Thanks Nick
Nat Collins
I keep getting pop-ups asking me which account I want to use Drag with. I want to use it only on the gmail account I'm using in tab 'B', but anytime I do something in tab 'A' I get the pop-up. Any idea how to get around this? ...or do I have to use it on all of my gmail accounts?
Nick Timms
@natcollins Hey Nat! Sorry for late reply. Quickest way is to just sign in with that account and then disable it but we're working on a much better fix for this!
Mahendra Rao
Wow, this is just a killer integration Drap app you are the best. Just now tried to integrate with my Gmail accounts and viola I am already In. This is the smart and easiest way of Integration I have seen till date. Kudos to the entire team. I wish to test around more and see how I can utilise within Gmail app @nptimms @dudabardavid Thanks for creating this and @kwdinc Fab Hunt
Duda Bardavid
High five to @mahendra_rao ! haha great review, thank you. Our team is very responsive so if you need anything just give us a shout!
James Bathgate
I’m a big proponent of kanban and inbox zero. This seems like a match made in heaven. Only problem is the free trial button doesn’t seem to work on my iPhone. I’ll have to wait to try it until tomorrow.
Duda Bardavid
Hey @james_bathgate love the description haha yeah at the moment you need to download it from a computer, our mobile version is still being developed. Have a try and let me know how it goes! :) Thanks
Nick Timms
@james_bathgate Did you try in the end? Live again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time. today).
Arpit Jain
I have used Drag earlier and it was very close to what I was looking for. But I could not use it as much as I wanted to limiting search capabilities (if I recall it right) and some usability issues. I am sure with Drag Pro some or most of these would have been taken care of. On a quick glimpse: - Boards and inviting boards sounds cool and promises to integrate Trello-esque workflows but lack of empathy level details makes look creepy. It does not explicitly answer what level of details the collaborator would see, can they look at all my emails? - Looks like Drag Pro is getting overwhelming response, it appears to be slow and did not auto refresh my inbox for new emails.
Duda Bardavid
@arpit23 haha you are right! Answering your questions, the idea of team boards is to share specific boards with your team! Only the emails (and tasks) you send to those shared boards will be seen (or edited/ replied) by your team-mates. You chose the emails/tasks to share. Can you check if you are using the version 4.0? We launched this version with a massive improvement on load speed! That might be the reason why your Drag is still a bit slow. Let me know! Thanks for the feedback :)
Nick Timms
@arpit23 I would love you to try again today to see how it compares: FYI - launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time. today).
Robin Lumley-Savile

Great support team, dedicated to their vision. I'm really going all in on this tool and looking forward to seeing it get better and better!

Pros:

Integrates with GSuite. Can scale easily as team grows. Can integrate phone support tickets and email tickets into one unified system.

Cons:

Newish product but dedicated team helping it to get better and better.

Breno Vieira

I'm using drag since 3 weeks ago and I've already seen some improvements, which is quite nice, I hope it'll keep evolving.

Pros:

Clean design, easy to use, takes gmail to other level of organization

Cons:

Still needs to fix some bugs when using other languages (non english)

Duda Bardavid
Hey Breno, thanks for the review! We are evolving faaaaaast bear with us, we have loads to come :)
José Victor Matos

I love the idea Drag brings to the table. I’ve used it for 3 months now and it’s quite addicting. I feel so much more productive, and honestly, I’m really looking forward for their next update.

Pros:

Incredibly simple to use and looks great

Cons:

Still needs improvement in sone functionalitIes.

Duda Bardavid
Hey Jose, really appreciate the feedback! Great to hear that’s been addictive, it is for us as well haha our next big release will be team boards, coming soon 👊🏻
Dimitris Mytilinaios

A nice way to keep track of your tasks that arrive to your email.

Pros:

Simple and intuitive interface.

Cons:

It misses a good multi-email selection feature.

Duda Bardavid
Hey Dimitris, thanks for the feedback! We have been making a big effort to keep Drag simple and intuitive in fact. Would love to hear more about the multi-email selection feature you suggested! Do you mean drag'n'drop multiple emails at once? Thank you!
Rafael Rodrigues
Hello Dimitris, you can select and Drag Multiple Emails using our D-Button, like in the image below: Thanks :) .
SwamiofSuccess

I'd recommend the app to anyone. For the current cost, it's a steal. It makes it very easy to expose e-mail, providing a visual reminder of things I need to follow-up on. (Just one forgotten e-mail could easily cost me more than the app costs for an entire year.) It's flexible, allowing you to work the way you want, rather than forcing you to work the way it thinks you should. And it's priceless for those of us who want to be organized, but never quite manage it on our own.

I've been using this product to different degrees since I first heard about it several months ago. It's come a long way since then (and is now one of my "daily drivers.") Anyone who has any experience in software/product development understands that products don't come out of the development box polished and ready to go. But, what separates an ok app from a great one is a development team that listens to its client base and makes changes that make the product work better for everyone (even if the ideas aren't quite what the product owners had in mind in the first place). I definitely think this app has a team like that behind it. I've run into a problem here and there, but the team has been great in working with me to identify the cause and resolve the issue.

Been using the product for more than a month. Less than a year. (That's a big range, ProductHunt... maybe we could get a 6 month option in there?)

Pros:

GREAT idea! Makes e-mail management a breeze.

Cons:

Still a new product, so isn't as polished as it will be.

Duda Bardavid
haha hope Product Hunt adopt your suggestion! LOVE your review :) Reviews like this really motivates our team to be each day more responsive! Our users move us and Drag has always been developed based 100% on what our users want. And these is so much more to come! Bear with us. Cheers
Duda Bardavid

Peter Banerjea

Extremely useful for anyone who spends a lot of time communicating outside the company - salespeople, support folks, PR people, procurement guys, etc. What I love most is the simplicity of it - which makes it very easy to get your people to adopt it!

Pros:

Don't have to leave your inbox. Especially helpful if email is your primary communication tool

Cons:

None so far

Nick Timms
@edwardjones21 thanks Edward, long way to go but I appreciate the support on the tool as it currently stands! :)
Rimas Julius Taminskas

A great tool to help you stay organized and see the things you need to prioritize. Recommended!

Pros:

Great organization of emails, convenient interface, quite fast

Cons:

Sometimes you need to reload the browser to get newest emails

Nick Timms
Hey Rimas, thanks so much. Yes, we've just implemented Node.js to speed up load time, however a few additional steps to take to make 'absolutely' real-time. Bear with us, about two weeks away from pushing our next version update on this! 🚀
Nick Timms
Hey Rimas, 4.0.1 fix pushed live today. Please check :) (Bug fixes)

Great idea. Just signed up for the pro version. The "Add Column" thing takes up a lot of unnecessary space. Would like more configuration options.

Pros:

Great idea to help me keep my inbox organized

Cons:

Some weird design decisions

Nick Timms
Haha David, we need to get on a call. I'm intrigued by the design comment :)
Egor Smetanin

Hope you will fix this little bug

Very easy to use, useful to work with counterparties and agencies

Cons:

Couldn't to find read mail in inbox column
