👋 Hi again, Product Hunt! I’m Anvisha, cofounder at @Doverhq and one of the creators of RateMyJD. Why did we make this? At Dover, we’ve analyzed thousands of job descriptions and found many are missing key elements, which can deter high-quality candidates. How does it work? Simply paste in your job description, and we'll evaluate it along 20 different dimensions ranging from job responsibilities, to HR info like compensation and benefits, to inclusivity. PS for extra fun, try roast mode 😈 How much does it cost? It's Free! Just like our prior PH launch, the ATS for startups. How is this different from just using ChatGPT? Dover has helped 500+ companies like Stripe, Scale AI, Vanta, Benchling and many more to hire great talent. Along the way, we’ve learned what makes a good job posting. We then leverage LLMs and combine it with some of Dover’s proprietary data to score these job descriptions across these dimensions. What types of roles does RateMyJD support? Our system is versatile and can support nearly any type of job description. How do I get started? Head to ratemyjd.com and just paste in your job description - the formatting doesn’t matter. From there, our system will work its magic and provide you with results within one minute. Give it a spin and let us know how it works for you!

@max_savonin1 thanks for the thoughtful questions! We definitely have more to build. We do offer suggestions! More to do here, but here’s an example from just one JD: AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT No mention of health insurance No mention of the company's time off policy Not clear on industry-specific experience No clarity on level of expertise expected In terms of ATS integrations- Dover offers our own free ATS (Dover.com/ats). Our full suite of features and solutions also integrates with Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. Benchmarking against other JD’s is a great idea! We’d love to hear the PH community’s feedback and if there’s interest we can expand on it. Luckily Dover has helped 500+ companies hire and has had 1000s of signups over the years. We have data across tens of thousands of JDs and roles so we know what works and could enhance the tool a lot. Appreciate your help spreading the word!!

As the founder of a startup company, recruiting suitable colleagues is one of our top priorities. Having a clear job description will make everything better. Your product's ability to rate job descriptions is a great idea. Congratulations on the launch. I would like to ask, will you provide targeted modification suggestions after the rating? If this feature is available, I believe it could even become a paid feature.
Anvisha Pai
@brandon_cccc thanks for the kind words and glad it’s been helpful! By targeted suggestions you mean modifying stuff in the article?
