This line from your article made me chuckle; "Sometimes, like in the case of a clothing store, or a guide to foraging mushrooms." Cool tool and the really well-put together article along side it, never realised how much weight can be saved by dithering, something I'm now thinking I should use for my blog and it's generic stock images. Thanks for sharing!
