Hello Product Hunt! šŸ‘‹ In today's digital world, it's too easy for people to fake digital documents. Once you issue a document and it leaves your system, you lose control of what others do with it. To make matters worse, traditional verification processes are broken. Verifying a document's authenticity is costly, time-consuming and inefficient. We built Certs so that all of us can take back control. All our documents can now be fraud-proof and instantly verifiable. šŸ’” Hereā€™s how it works: 1. You can use Certs as a Web App or via API, so all it takes to create verifiable fraud-proof data is a few clicks or one API call. The API easily integrates with many data sources, such as Learning Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, and others. And no blockchain or cryptography knowledge is required! 2. Once you define the contents of your document/credential and who the recipients are, you can select options like time-stamping on the blockchain, automated expiration dates, remote revocation or advanced privacy features such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs and Selective Disclosure. 3. Click "Issue", and you're done! Your users will receive a fraud-proof, digitally verifiable credential. Itā€™s as simple as that! šŸ™Œ But thereā€™s more! šŸ“± Your Own Digital Identity Wallet: Once issued, you can send the verifiable credentials to your usersā€™ Identity Wallet app. If your organization does not have an Identity Wallet, you can quickly launch your own using our White-label Wallet! (or use Dockā€™s branded Wallet - free download) āœ… One Scan to Verify: Through Verification QR Codes created in Certs, anyone can request and instantly verify any document or credential from your users. The users scan the QR Code with their Wallets, and the credential's authenticity is verified in seconds. How our clients are using Certs: šŸ“„ Digital Documents and Certificates: To prevent manipulation, quickly prove authenticity, authenticate the issuer automatically, and maintain data integrity. šŸ’» Solution Providers: Using our API to achieve quicker time to market when building their own blockchain-based verifiable credentials solution. White-labeling our digital identity wallet, so they don't have to build a wallet from zero. šŸ¦ Financial Services: To improve the speed, security and privacy of customer onboarding, KYC and identity verifications. We would love you to check out the Free Trial on the product link above šŸ˜ƒ I'll be here with our team during the day, and we look forward to answering your questions!

@pavell2l Will do, thanks Pavel.
Denis Galka
Wow wow wow! This sounds too good to be true! How can we trust that Dock Certs truly provides fraud-proof certification? Nonetheless, if it works as advertised, it could greatly simplify the verification process.
Francisco Baptista
@denis_galka Hi Denis! Dock Certs uses a combination of cryptography and blockchain to ensure that the data remains fraud-proof. This is what's happening under the hood: each document or credential carries a code (like a digital fingerprint) of every detail in the document on the moment it was issued. This code (a hash digitally signed with the Issuer's cryptographic private key) allows anyone to verify if the document remains authentic or if it was changed since it was issued. P.S: Just noticed that Sequoia includes a component of privacy and anonymity. Digital Identity credentials issued with Dock Certs allow users to privately identify themselves using advanced privacy techniques such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs and Selective Disclosure
Denis Galka
@francisco_baptista Thanks for your answer. Now it's clear
Nick Lambert
@denis_galka In addition to Francisco's response I'd also add the we follow the W3C VCDM standards - an approach devised by many orgs and individuals over many years which helps to ensure our implementation is well considered, but also interoperable. We have also open sourced almost all our code base and have carried out several security audits over the last couple of years.
Bilal Niaz
This is really important, especially in today's climate where we're seeing an increase in fake news and data manipulation. The Certs Web App and API can help to prevent this by ensuring that data and documents are authentic and cannot be faked.
Nick Lambert
@bilal_niaz Cheers for the message, much appreciated!
Paul Sobiecki
Nice! I just badly estimated how long it will take to release my mini project and I wonder whether I am alone :D Hence the question: how long did it take you to build this project?
Francisco Baptista
@pausx Hi Paul! Dock was founded in 2017 and we've been building the underlying technology (including our own blockchain) since then! Good luck for your launch! What's your project about?
Nick Lambert
@pausx I've also found through several big projects that it is never a straight path to build something meaningful, there can be diversions and pivots along the way. Software projects always over run so you're not alone.
Sergey Bunas
This is a game-changer! Dock Certs offers a seamless solution to ensure data authenticity and eliminate expensive verifications. The combination of cryptography and blockchain provides an unbeatable level of security. Bravo!
Nick Lambert
@serjobas Cheers for the support, Sergey, we really appreciate it!
Rana Phool
Congratulations on launching Dock Certs! It looks like an amazing product that can revolutionize the way we protect and verify data. I'm excited to see how it changes the industry.
Nick Lambert
@rana_phool Thanks for stopping by and letting us know! Good luck with you own impending launch!
Ilya Yaroshevich
Hi, Makers! Congratulations on the launch of Dock Certs on PH! Along with the rapid development of technology these days, it is very important to have a tool to verify the veracity of the data. You've done a great job!
Francisco Baptista
@ilyayaroshevichqa Thank you, Ilya! By the way, I noticed that Sequoia has a strong component of privacy and anonymity. Digital Identity credentials issued with Dock Certs allow users to privately identify themselves using advanced privacy techniques such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs and Selective Disclosure

@matcha_anil Thanks for the support!
Miguel Nunes Correia
Good luck with your launch, it looks great!
Amber Farmland
Do you charge per verification or what?
Nick Lambert
@amber_farmland We work like a SaaS subscription and we calculate pricing based on the volume of credentials the Issuer will make on a monthly basis while also taking into account he features they need. Pricing can be found here: https://www.dock.io/pricing. Thanks for the Q!
Francisco Baptista
@amber_farmland Hi Amber! We don't charge per verification. Our pricing tiers depend on the number of Issuer Profiles, Credentials issued and access to certain features. You can see everything included in each tier here: https://www.dock.io/pricing
Julie Garcia
The one-scan verification feature is heaven sent! You've outdone yourselves, congratulations to you.
