@jbzedda can you elaborate on those adjustments? Is it better to buy the version from your website, or are both apps identical now, regardless of source?
@jbzedda @chrismessina Hello Chris! The Mac App Store version has the same features, but with some limitations, due to Apple policy: files requiring admin password needs to be trashed manually, maintenance section is hidden by default (but can be easily restored), CPU temperature and fan speed are not available in the Smart Mode. I would suggest to buy from our own webstore because you’re sure to get the full-featured version. And you help us, as our partner FastSpring takes a lower fee than Apple :-)

I'm very proud to present version 3 of TrashMe for macOS. This app was created back in 2010, but we've built TrashMe 3 from scratch, using modern technologies and focusing on user experience.
TrashMe 3 includes ton of features:

Can you share why I don't need to worry about privacy here? Particularly, I'm worried about giving you access to my personal data.
@new_user_2896ad1e65 Hello David. We’re a small studio, based in France and making macOS apps since 2009 (first version of TrashMe has been released in 2010). Our apps never collect any personal data, nothing is sent on our server or other servers, a nd we don’t use any framework like Google or Facebook. Our apps are also notarised by Apple, meaning that they are not malwares. However, any app that is designed to search for junk files or to clean system caches, needs to access your disk. Hope this helps :-)
Just a quick update, as we've released a major update of TrashMe 3. This version 3.3 includes a new “Extensions” section, a completely redesigned Smart Mode and dozen of improvements and fixes.
The new Smart Mode features a gorgeous user interface that fits macOS Big Sur standard (see screenshots). We've also added two macOS Big Sur widgets, to monitor the battery of all your devices (including AirPods) and the available space on your disk.
