Hi Hunters, Co-founder at Diarupt here. We've spent the last few months building and I'm excited to be launching Persona today. Persona lets you create interactive human-like AI Assistants that can have near-human face-to-face conversations. This unlocks a whole new frontier of AI experiences. With Persona: - You can create custom Interactive AI experiences for your specific use cases - Design custom AI behaviours, objectives and desired outcomes. - Connect it to relevant knowledge with integration to over 15+ knowledge sources - Share your Interactive AI via shareable links, send an invite or even embed it on your website. Your only limit is your imagination, you can create Human-like interactive AI for anything. We‘ve also built out specialised workflows for different use cases and are building more. For example, we have the recruitment Persona, which is designed for handling live interviews and connects directly with your ATS for fluid hiring workflows. This is just the beginning of a more engaging AI experience, and we are excited to see the experiences you'll craft using Persona. You can signup and check out Persona here: https://diarupt.ai Thanks for checking out our launch, we look forward to your feedback. 💜

@marvin_tunji_ola congrats on the launch here! I'm curious if you're expecting the end user to believe its actually the person or if you're indicating (or just expect naturally) that the end user knows they are interacting with an AI version of someone? More thoughts here:
Marvin Tunji-ola
@frank_denbow Great video there. Thanks for your thoughts. I'd like to know if you also interacted with the product and your thoughts on that as well. I'd like to discuss your concerns about whether we should do this or not. I believe it totally depends on the use case. For example, I don't believe you should use this for your entire interview pipeline. It’s more useful for pre-screening due to the usual large volume of applications, and then for stages after that, I believe a real person should handle them. So it's just a tool; you decide how to use it. Also, we are not trying to tell people this is a real person; we always have an AI in the interaction, so you're aware. You should also know this is version 1 and it's only going to get better and more realistic, also in terms of quality of the expression of the AI there are better models out there but they are not capable of handling a conversation in realtime. We will only improve from here on. Overall we really appreciate your review and hope you use our tool for something cool very soon.

@marvin_tunji_ola Great thoughts, i think we are on the same page there. I have a hunch making it not even look humanlike would work (and be easier to execute). Happy to try the product and chat more!

@alexdigitalmkt thanks Alexandre
Shushant Lakhyani
Does it work well even in complicated situations?
Marvin Tunji-ola
@shushant_lakhyani, We've tested it in various scenarios, and it performs well. We often found that the only limitation is the amount of knowledge you give it to. Regardless, I'd like to know what kind of situation you are considering.

Nice - I made something similar last year for interviewing AI as a personal project. Ooc what did you use for the character - like wav2lip or sthg?
Marvin Tunji-ola
@colin_winklevoss we build out our own base model. You should check out our technical blog to get some idea on what beneath the tech.

From one AI product to another, this is great! Definitely a technology that will take a while for people to get used to, but as it develops it will suddenly become the new norm. I've shared this with our team, keen to try it out.
Marvin Tunji-ola
@fluency thanks Leo🙏🏽
Great product right here! Not sure if clients would be offended if I used this during a meeting, but the direction is correct!
Marvin Tunji-ola
@charlestehio It depends on the use case, for example if you want to use it for sales discovery, it more acceptable in context of self serve sales discovery. We believe this would be a common place soon especially for repetitive meetings and calls.
Bob WIlsey
That's great to hear! Do you have plans to incorporate additional AI features in the future?
Joep van den Bogaert
This has so much potential. I guess it's still slightly awkward to talk to such an AI for now, but I'm sure this will become smoother and more responsive really soon. Congrats on the launch and good luck today!
Marvin Tunji-ola
@jopie Thanks, we believe in it potential to ehance AI experiences and enable new use-cases. If you haven't yet i urge you to try it out.
Ruben Boonzaaijer
really nice, are you guys planning on adding more AI features?
Marvin Tunji-ola
@ruben_boonz We have a whole lot in the pipeline, like multiperson conversations and more. This is version 1 and we believe it only going to get better
Lee Sherman
How do you get around the problem of the uncanny valley? It's a neat idea but most personas I've seen can be kind of creepy in practice.
