Unlike most calendars, Daybridge doesn’t confine you to a half-empty grid. So you’re free to structure your day exactly how you like. Mix events, tasks, and notes together in the same place.

I’ve been following Kieran’s progress on Daybridge via Twitter and I’m so excited to get my hands on this product. I need Daybridge in my life! Also the quality and execution from what I’ve seen via snapshots looks incredible.

@jamesjgill Thanks James!

This looks well thought out, and I want a more intelligent calendar. But how are you thinking through the reality for many people in B2B: sending/receiving Google calendar invites. Do I have to manually add every meeting I'm invited to to Daybridge, or do you integrate and import for me?
Nick Noble
@mballance This is my main concern, I'm so sold otherwise but it would be a major damper to not actually be able to use it with work.

So we FINALLY have a calendar app that understands how human beings think and operate. I have been B E Y O N D frustrated with every calendar app in extistence. I always hated the status quo grid UI that all calendar apps incorporate. I kid you not, I have been designing something similar to this for awhile but now these guys are making my calendar dreams come true! Mad props to this team! 👏

@jeffeisley i like the design 👍 while looking at the example i realized how busy man can get :-)

@jeffeisley Pretty sure @kieranmch would appreciate it if being mentioned as maker, since he... is the maker :)

@jeffeisley @itspippolinski Thank you for posting and for tagging me

Phenomenal idea by a phenomenal founder @kieranmch ! Calendars haven't felt the same since Sunrise and Daybridge is designing a calendar looks like a joy to use! I can't wait for this to become a part of my stack when it comes out and I can't wait to see what the team come up with 😁
Kieran McHugh
@coconidodev Thanks for your support Nicolo!

Honestly really really impressed by what I can see on Daybridge's website. Just the option to add buffer time and commute times almost makes me want to tattoo their logo on my arm. Seriously. Can't wait to use it regularly.

So many things are designed for companies instead of people, several times a week I see adverts for me and a team. I look forward to trying out this app when on my computer.

Hi everyone, and thank you @jeffeisley for posting! @lloydstill and I have been hard at work over the past few months. We made it because we're really fed up with calendar apps, and we think we can do much better by building out our own bespoke backend and cross-platform frontend. We're currently in a closed Alpha for Daybridge and we'll be rolling it out to our waiting list soon. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions! We also have a community Slack who will get the earliest access. DM me on Twitter or drop an email to hello [at] our domain for an invite. Thanks again for all the support!

The little details on this product are a pure delight. I have been @kieranmch for a while now and it's great to see this product out in the wild now!

@maximedegreve Thanks Maxime!

Seems promising, congrats! Reminds me the great times of Sunrise calendar. Do you plan to add third parties integrations like Sunrise used to have (trello, meetup, facebook ...) ? Your landing page only mentions IFTTT (which is already a great start to kickoff external integrations). I hope it'll be ready soon 🙏

Was looking for a tool like that. I usually use paper calendar and I love it more than any app but for some activities I need an online calendar as well. For now I like UX, seems friendly. I'll let you know after a week or two of beta testing.
Maikal
Hi! Awesome calendar, I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time since I use my calendar for a lot of things not work related. I remember to see your project a few months back in the summer on Reddit and I’m so pleased to see it here too! Just one question: I did registered in the summer for the beta testing and I did again, is it ok? Thanks!
Roman
How is this any different from Google Calendar? Based on the information I'm seeing on the site I'm not sure why would someone change to this?
Nicolas „Niq“ Bernadowitsch
Hi @kieranmch I wanted to joined the beta but get a „That's odd - This page appears to be missing.“ when trying to verify my email address..
Brandon Partridge
@kieranmch Any idea on when the beta will begin? I'd love to ditch the Google Calendar hellscape for this.
Yalin Solmaz
Sometimes the things to fix are exactly the things no one can seem to think differently about. I think I join a chorus of people when I say I've tried every calendar app out there from Fantastical to Woven to TickTick (you name it!), and none have really worked the way I think about my time. Excited to check out your approach to it! Congrats!

This is amazing. I was looking for that perfect tool for years. Can't wait to have access. I wish I could be using it by now. Increadible tool I have no doubt.
Gareth K Thomas
Good to know I'm not the only one struggling with tasks + calendars. Just signed up, then realised I signed up back in July. Great to know a solution is on its way.
Lancelot Hardel
I've been following this project for a good time now, and it's a pleasure to see them building in the open. No doubt that the product will be incredible.
Arseniy Ivanov
Don't you love it when the landing page says "enter your email address to join the beta," but it's actually just a mailing list.
Kieran McHugh
@freeatnet I’m sorry it’s not ready for everyone yet. We are working very hard. Note that it wasn’t our decision to post on here so soon 🙂 But we’re happy everyone gets to see it.
Luke Georgeson
The tagline 'A calendar built for people, not companies.' was what captured my attention. Very vivid and concise messaging. Looks like the product is living up to that too. Really great job! @kieranmch
Kieran McHugh
@lukegeorgeson Thanks Luke, appreciate that feedback!
