Customize AI bots that can search across Drive, Notion, Zendesk, Salesforce, and 50+ work apps to deliver precise and instant answers to all your team's questions.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m excited to introduce Dashworks Bots, a new way to create custom AI search assistants for your teams.
We built Dashworks Bots in response to a growing personal need (and customer requests!) to automate answers to repetitive questions from team members, customers, and prospects.
Here’s what Dashworks Bots let you do:
1. Create custom bots for use cases like:
🖥️ Answering product-related questions from customer support and sales teams
🔐 Completing RFPs and security questionnaires from prospects
🧑🏫 Surfacing HR policies and processes to new hires
✍️ Drafting branded marketing content like website copy and social media posts
2. Connect Bots with your knowledge bases, such as Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk, and 50+ other apps, to get precise answers and citations to the sources.
3. Share Bots with your team so they can get answers to their questions, or add them to Slack channels to automatically respond to new threads.
Early access teams are using Bots to automate answers to thousands of questions every week. Our hope from this launch is to learn what other use cases you come up with or would like us to support!
We’ll be around here today, let us know if you’ve any feedback or questions 🙌
When you say "train your bots" Are you referring to setting the system prompt? Or is there any specific training or fine-tuning done per-client?
Also, in terms of the external searches, are these used as query tools or do you create an indexed copy of the content to search through?
For this latter question, what do you do to ensure permissions and roles are not infringed when retrieving information?
Thanks, and great work!
Congrats! A lot of similar tools out there, but the easy connection with work apps is what can make you stand out. I was hoping for a tool like this to pop out!
I think several companies (or at least my employer) are worried about privacy of some docs. Will you allow offline usage, or embeddings stored on company's server?
And should I expect any drop in accuracy as the number of connected apps (i.e. sources) increase?
@alessandro_luppi Thank you for the kind words and questions! 🙌
1. Privacy and Security: We understand that privacy is a top concern for many companies. Dashworks is designed with a privacy-first approach. We maintain existing permission settings from your connected apps, ensuring that users only see the information they are authorized to access. Additionally, we use an industry-first live search agent approach that doesn't require pre-indexing your data. Instead, Dashworks makes real-time search API calls to your applications to fetch only the relevant information to answering your question. Here's more about how this works: https://www.dashworks.ai/blog/pr...
3. Accuracy with Multiple Connected Apps: Dashworks is built to handle multiple data sources efficiently. As the number of connected apps increases, our AI continues to deliver accurate and relevant results by leveraging advanced ranking algorithms and filtering mechanisms. We also allow users to provide feedback (upvotes/downvotes) to further improve accuracy over time. So, even with many connected apps, you can expect Dashworks to maintain high accuracy in its responses.
Let me know if you have any more questions or if you'd like to see a demo! 😊
congrats @prasadkawthekar on dashworks bots, it seems like a game changer.
particularly intrigued by the bot’s ability to connect with multiple apps and provide precise answers, would love to see it in action.
@gemma_mortlock Yes, you can customize them by giving them specific knowledge sources to search inside and specific guidelines to follow when responding. It's not restricted to templates!
@prasadkawthekar This is fantastic! Dashworks Bots seems like a game changer for streamlining internal communication and enhancing productivity.
The ability to customize AI search assistants that tap into a wide range of apps is particularly impressive, ensuring that teams can get accurate answers quickly without sifting through endless documents. I can see this being incredibly beneficial for onboarding processes and customer support, where time and precision are critical. I’m curious about how easy it is to set up and customize these bots—how intuitive is the interface for non-technical users?
Looking forward to seeing how teams creatively utilize this tool in their workflows! 🚀
@steven_wang_0804 Thank you for the kind words!
Setting up and customizing the bots is designed to be super intuitive, even for non-technical users. You can connect your apps in just a few clicks, and also easily customize their behavior in responses. Onboarding and support are indeed perfect use cases!

I'm especially intrigued by how Dashworks Bots can complete RFPs and automate drafting marketing content.
Do you have any plans to add deeper integrations with content creation tools like Canva or Figma to make the bots even more versatile?
@dmytro_sokolov yes, we do plan to add support for both in the coming weeks! Would love to hear if you had a specific use case in mind for either of them!
