@tom_norman1 lol. no. it did not. But all the money went to charity so I still felt like I was winning at the end of the day 😝
It is similar to the "1 Min Writing Challenge" that we launched a few days ago on PH (https://www.producthunt.com/post...).

Thanks @kevin for hunting us. Alongside @ryan_lindsey, I’m one half of the Daily Prompt team. Our mission is to help writers become better authors by making it as easy as possible to show up and practice every day.
We started as an iOS app and have seen our writing community unite there. In 2021, there were over 6 million words written with our top author writing 200,000 of those!
It can be a lonely path towards becoming an author, but our community comes together day-in, day-out to offer support, advice and feedback. Now, we’re launching on the web to make it easier than ever to use Daily Prompt, and to open the app up to non-iOS users too.
Right now, this is still an early web-version since we’re just getting started but it will later include other features from the iOS app such as: competitions, our popular novel-writing package, and author insights.
Any feedback or ideas for improvement are very welcome! Like the path of our authors, we just hope to get a little bit better every day.

Honesty... Being upfront with the customer...
I am sorry but there is no way I will consider a product that hides its price. While there is a big 50% off premium counter on the home page you don't list the price anywhere on the front of the website and only through digging do you find out what it gives you or what the price is.
@sjgold Wow, Seth. You're totally right. Sorry, that wasn't in any way to mislead the customer, just an oversight in how we set up the homepage :( There's a free version of the app (which remains totally ad-free too!) and there's a Premium version of the app too for $39.99 a year or on promotion right now for $19.99.

@maria_brm Great question, Maria! Feedback is given by our community. We're building a cyclical culture of helping one another out. It's not quite perfect yet, but uses points incentives and in-app communication to encourage people to offer one another feedback.
