I first heard about DabKick via this video interview with @scobleizer: Synchronous products like these are challenging. I wonder how well its doing.

Very similar tech to what we were doing at Lutebox in 2011, our website let you videochat with friends while watching content at the same time. I would have to agree with you @rrhoover, from our experience synchronous communication and sharing tends to be less likely to create addicting behaviour. However I have three years of insight into this space and have strong thoughts on how to make this work. Would love to have a chat with the founders sometime.
