Hey Product Hunters! I’m Evin, creator of CustomPod. A simple tool that gives you hyper-personalized updates on topics that you care about from sources you trust. If you’re like me, you’ve been fed up with the news constantly being about the same article, topic, or category of conversation. More often than not, it’s about politics and what ridiculous antics the candidates are up to. Sometimes you just want to focus on things that are a little more uplifting and in line with your interests to provide some education on the go. So I created a tool to help with that, specifically with the what you hear in your daily news podcast briefings. It’s super simple: 🎯 Select the topics from media providers you’re interested in Pick from any of the built in providers, or add your own 👂 Get a podcast generated daily and catch up on your interests Hit the generate button and in a minute you’ll get a podcast with all of the news you asked for. It simple pulls from your already trusted media outlets and topics that you are interested in, and discusses only new updates from those sources daily. It’s great for going for a walk with the dog or on long commutes where you can’t afford to be staring at your screen. I’ve already found that it’s helpful for keeping up to date with the obscure sources that I’m interested in, and will eventually integrate with your corporate slack and other tools to give hyper-personalized summaries of what’s going on in the world. It’s free to use, give it a try and be sure to send me some feedback! https://custompod.io Enjoy! — Evin
