@rachaeltls Love the "fiercely independent" bit. Do you earn a commission for products purchased through the app? If so, how do you ensure independent recommendations?

Firstly, Curu does not sell any products through our app. We are purely a recommendation and matchmaking platform. You can think of us as a TripAdvisor, but for skincare - we offer a directory of products and bite-sized insights to help with decisions. 💭
Our product recommendations are based solely on what's right for your skin, not how much commission we get - because we don't get any. This means our recommendations remain entirely unbiased and independent.
At present, our main focus is on perfecting our recommendations and user experience. Future monetisation strategies will not compromise the integrity of our recommendations, and I'm committed to keeping it this way. 😊
