Cube is an API‑first business intelligence platform that makes data accessible and consistent across every application. Define a data model, manage security and multitenancy, accelerate queries, and expose data to your apps via SQL, REST, and GraphQL.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋🏼 In the three years since we open-sourced the Cube headless BI platform, we’ve helped thousands of developers and data engineers build embedded analytics features and custom data applications. But we’ve always believed that consistent data definitions should be accessible to every data consumer—and that includes users of notebook apps as well as BI applications like Tableau, Superset, and Power BI. That’s why we’re extremely excited to launch Cube’s SQL API, which makes it easy to query Cube as a data source from within most of the world’s BI tools. An organization can configure Cube—once—to securely access data sources, define data models, and cache queries. After that, every data consumer across an organization can securely access Cube’s definitions and materializations with simplified queries. The new SQL API is available in both the open source Cube tool and Cube Cloud, our managed Cube service. I hope you’ll give us a try by signing up for a free account at https://cube.dev/cloud, and then share your feedback. We’re super excited by what we’ve built, and what’s next! 🙏🏼

All the best for Cube! This is and will continue to be IMO one of the major player for the metrics store space 🚀 Keep the good work done on integrating with transformation tools (like dbt) and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc...)💪
